Super Helpful!

I bought this audiobook as a gift for a friend of mine. She's been struggling with navigating her son's recent diagnosis of autism, and has been looking for resources to help and learn more from. She said this book was amazing. A lot of this is new to her, and she said the book really helped her get a deeper understanding of autism... In a way, which her doctor's never fully or properly explained. The sections on recognizing symptoms and diagnosis helped put her mind at ease a bit, reiterating what she and her son have been experiencing and what her doctors finally helped identify. And the sections on dealing with emotions and relationships after a diagnosis gave her a ton of great insight and ideas on how to readjust her approach and be more accepting and understanding towards her son. I think it made her feel like she wasn't alone in her new reality and gave her the confidence and positivity, she felt was slipping away from her. Overall, she really enjoyed the book and highly recommends it.
