About this listen
I’m lonely, but am I ready to move on?
I’ve been Ankh’s old man for as long as Hell’s Ankhor has existed. But Ankh’s been dead for two years, and I need to live my life for me. I love the guys of HAC, but no one’s keeping me warm at night. No one except Mal, and that’s only in my dreams.
He doesn’t do long term, and he’s one of my oldest friends. Hooking up could risk the club, yet when it comes to him, I don’t care. I’m ready to live and love again.
Priest makes me want to sin.
I can’t ruin 30 years of friendship because of a little lust. But nothing about Priest is little. The old bear is just as muscular as me, and I’m sure he could pin me. Damn, I want him in the sack.
Making a move risks not only our friendship, but potentially our MC. I’ve never needed a serious relationship, but Priest deserves more than a one-night stand. When a psycho ex-fling comes into town to stalk me, Priest is at my side. With our club we can handle any danger.
Are we ready to handle each other?

I really enjoyed the diverse characters and found family of Hell Anchor. I feel Priest was the patriarch of the club and he build the club with Ankh into a strong family focused club, now after years of grieving, his oldest friend Mal sparks a change.
Mal's a strong and passionate man and I like how he and Priest TALKED to each other like adults and openly communicated their thoughts and feelings throughout the story, they were honest (mostly) and built on a foundation of lifelong friendship. it seemed inevitable that these two would end up together but I liked the journey and healing along the way.
I'm kinda hooked of the Hell's Anchor crew and now I need to read all the others!!
love comes full circle

What made Priest and Mal's romance so sweet was knowing how much shared history they had together. These men had been platonic friends for decades, supported each other through some of life's most difficult moments, and grown to be respected members of their motorcycle clubs. In some ways, it feels kinda obvious that these two were meant to be together, but I have a lot of respect for how cautiously they treated the beginning stages of their relationship. As two men who had seen how poorly relationships could end, Priest and Mal were rightfully unsure about throwing themselves into a fling that could have an impact on the rest of the club. I'm not completely sure how they ended up in a friends-with-benefits style arrangement, but I certainly had no complaints about how deliciously steamy their encounters were. Priest and Mal weren't the best communicators when it came to their romantic feelings, but their bodies told me everything I needed to know about their intense chemistry. As the worrisome stalker Mal was dealing with kept escalating, it was comforting to see Priest provide a safe landing place for Mal to escape to. This story did get heavy at times, whether it was Priest battling with his emotions about letting go of Ankh or Mal dealing with his shame at letting his hookups get out of control, but the balance between lighthearted club banter and suspense was nicely done. I was not expecting the chaotic events at the cemetary to have such a disastrous impact on Priest and Mal's relationship, but now that I look back I think it was a break they needed to get over the last of their reservations. Those final few chapters, when Priest and Mal were happily in love and surrounded by their club family, filled my heart to the brim with happiness. I'm not sure I'll ever be ready to say goodbye to these guys, but knowing that they're all settled and in love is as good as it can possibly get.
