Again not disappointed, in fact spent the afternoon listening to it as I did housework, to the extent I did not have the television on at all during the evening as I was listening to this audio instead.

Would recommend these books to anyone with a slight interest in 'Jurassic Park' or 'The Lost World'.

Purely Amazing

Great story, great narration - creates a vivid world in one’s imagination. I have listened to quite a few Greig Beck / Sean Mangan books and this series is probably one of the best.

I thought this book was more engaging and better written than the first one.

On the whole the narration is good but there are sections in both books where the narrator sounds drunk - slurring through the story after one or two too many! it's very off-putting. I remember nearly giving up on the first book because of it.

This aside, I recommend this audio book for some enjoyable escapism.

I think I liked this part better than the first one. I cannot really quite explain why though.

BIG SPOILERS: I think it's a bit ridiculous how many people die while attempting to rescue Ben Cartwright. I got the impression from the first book that Ben is a character who wouldn't have wanted other people to die for him. This was the only thing I didn't quite understand in Part 2. I am excited to start Part 3!

brilliant story, and the narrator perfect . Informative about the past and i cared about the characters. should be a movie.

This book was way better than the last one. Every time the characters stepped a foot forward they had to go two steps back, while being chased, injured and sometimes devoured by huge monsters.
I particularly liked Ben's sort of friendship with the shark.
However, the narration wasn't great. Huh! is not a gutteral sound from the lungs but a word. There were enough Huh!s in the text for this to get really annoying. This will stop me from listening again.
