Random. Worth it.
I think I got this book because it was pretty random at that time, but don’t regret it though because it seems a very good decision to be learning all these stuff. I agree that manipulation is everywhere and we can easily get persuaded by someone out there set out to do their own motives, good or bad, so it’s neat to know how this is played. Learned other stuff too, pretty informative for a little book. 5 stars for this audiobook!

Thought-provoking
I have completed listening to this Audible and was reflecting on it for a couple of days now. I am beginning to fully understand that we control people not to trick them. Being able to be in control is a skill and an aptitude that can protect us and others from potential harm and also enables the greater good for everyone. We can benefit much from this ability and from digesting this book with an open mind towards improving lives not just our own. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I genuinely enjoyed this one
I genuinely enjoyed the audiobook itself and I think it was somewhat insightful. Hypnosis has been used for entertainment purposes. This book helps one be aware of the different types of dark psychology so that you don't fall victim. If you're able to spot someone manipulating you or being narcissistic, you won't fall for it. You are better prepared to deal with a person or a situation.

A cool book on the Ethics of Power
Everything that matters about the whole talk and controversies of psychological manipulation is here, or at least the ones I haven’t heard much about and would like to know more about. I had trouble finding most of the answers when I started reading dark psychology books and this book was able to answer those. I have read about 5 books so far and I had more notes written about this book and I really do hope I got the paperback because that would be better (for me). I heard lines and lines of beautiful ideas and words I would never have expected to read from such a genre of book. Emory Green is the wise man you would want to listen to on these topics. I would rename this book to include ETHICS OF POWER but I don’t know, just check it out and listen to what information and transformation it will make in your head. Good or bad, depends on you. All I know is that I was led to the light after reading this book.

Helpful for coping
People who are going through the trauma of having a manipulator in their life should listen to this audiobook. It takes a way a lot of the murky stuff in between foggy emotions and the truth behind why people close to you manipulate. It could be a partner, an ex, or even a family member. Also, a boss, a work colleague, a business partner. It's easy to understand and gives help on how to cope with it and solve the issues.

Unexpectedly good for me
Okay, let me tell you about how this book made me realize how much I have been manipulated by what people say along the course of my present career. It has been almost a decade and it has taken its toll. Manipulation can be harmless if it doesn’t become a part of you, but to some of us it is too late. Before we started listening to this book, many years of being controlled and other people’s manipulation had altered our own beliefs. Now, I will attempt a reset to start over. This book has helped me start the will to transform my life and free myself from what’s old and not working. It’s time to try something new and something true. I never expected these results from a book. It wasn’t what I expected when I selected this book to listen to.

Extensive and well-written
This book is everything it says it is on the cover. The material and system it describes is quite extensive, detailed and accurate. It was explained systematically and clearly. Although I did not listen to anything that I was not already aware of or know, I found it to be well written and interesting. Seeing all the proven psychological pieces put together so effortlessly was fascinating in itself. That the authors were able to construct such a well written, smooth read of the many pieces that make up the system they describe deserves an appropriate level of reader recognition.

Perfect use of my time.
Worth my time to listen to. They say we live in a time of trickery and today we get to live in a world full of individuals who are either great manipulators or the victims. Best about this audiobook is it doesn’t only revolve in that idea but also informs you of the other important ingredients of the recipe to great manipulation. Informative and empowering. It not only gives you what you should know but also instructs you what to do, or at least you’ll learn to figure it out yourself how to get out of the trap.

Amazing big ideas
Gorgeous edition of my favorite author's book. The story and discussions are wonderful, and the book contains quite possibly the most in depth information I've ever listened to in my life. It explains the difference between manipulation and persuasion and uses the psychology of the modern mind, and how it's being manipulated by the powers that be.
