Summary
Set in the dreamy backwoods of Oregon, Ravensong is a queer, paranormal romance of burning passion and pack loyalty. It continues the powerful saga started in Wolfsong.
Gordo Livingstone never forgot the lessons carved into his skin. Hardened by the betrayal of the wolf pack who left him behind, he sought solace in work – running the garage in his mountain town. He vowed to steer clear of shape-shifters and their affairs. It should have been enough. Then the wolves returned – bringing Mark Bennett with them. Gordo found himself facing their mutual enemy together, and they won.
Now, a year later, Gordo is once again witch of the Bennett pack. Yet, even as Gordo struggles to ignore Mark, he can’t avoid the strength of his feelings. But time is running out as a new danger approaches. This time, they’ll face the enemy within.
Ravensong is the second book in TJ Klune’s beloved Green Creek series. Continue the journey with Heartsong . . .

Good follow up to Wolfsong
Book 2 of 4 is Gordo’s story. It is a tale that covers the past history of his relationships and his development to the person he was meant to be. It’s a good story, with some repetition of events from the first book, and leading the way for book3 to continue the saga.
I didn’t like how the narrator acted the female voices, though overall he did a good job of acting the characters.

I love these books so much!
Who knew I’d enjoy books about werewolves and witches so much. The stories are so good and I love all the characters and as for the narrator, he just takes the whole thing to another level.

The shift of POV to another main character added to much to story. The use of repetition is so affecting.
Another entry in one of the most affecting stories I’ve ever been lucky enough to enjoy. Truly moving while all the excitement and drama of the supernatural remains constant throughout. I have 2 books in the series remaining and already fretting about what I will do once I have them finished. Remarkable

Amazing writing, loved every second.
I love the Green Creek series. I didn't know if it would be my thing with it being about werewolves or shifters in a little town in Oregon, but I was wrong. I love T.J.Klunes writing and the emotion that he pours into his characters. I feel all the emotions with them. The betrayal and anger is so well done and I understood completely why Gordo is so hurt and so angry, but I feel the joy and relief of all the characters, of Mark and Gordo and how hard fought their relationship is, at all stages of their lives.
I loved Wolfsong and I didn't think I would get into it as sometimes the wolves are just written as jealous, over possessive and needlessly angry over their mate etc. There is so much more than that though in these books. it's about Love and friendship, friends and family and what it means to be pack. I was so pleasantly surprised by Wolfsong and the joy of delving into this world came alive again in Ravensong. The narration is top notch also and absolutely makes the characters come to life. An excellent narrator brings an already great book to life and makes it all the better. Great talent in Kirt Graves and looking forward to listening to the next one.

Characters developments
A solid sequel. This book picks up from Wolfsong, continuing with the lives of the characters in Green Creek, we learn more of their backstory. The narrative is from Gordo's perspective this time.
Initially I struggled with the first half as it jumped between different timelines. But from the middle to the last third, the pace really picks up as it heads towards a shocking twist.
TJ Klune, has a masterful way of telling a story that peels back in layers, to reveal depth after depth, a saga that continues, until a climactic conclusion. I can't wait for book 3 in the series.
