About this listen

He was the light to his darkness, the calm that broke through the storm.

Mike Stockley has taken care of himself since he was thirteen years old. Growing up on his own made him smart; joining the Devil Wreckers gang made him dangerous. Mike's street knowledge and f**k-all attitude made him notorious.

Now at forty-eight, Mike has a successful landscaping business and is away from the gang lifestyle, but he kept the skills he learned and the mindset. But what it didn't make him was relationship material.

Rayne Montgomery grew up on the right side of the tracks. But after being shunned by his high-class family for being gay, Rayne had to learn how to survive on his own. He has the looks, charm, the suave voice, and the body to get whatever he desires, and Rayne knows exactly what kind of man to con in order to get it.

All destructive conditions come with challenges, and Rayne's are no different. With the help and support of his friend Wood, he knows he can beat this disease. He can stop making the same mistakes and live happily ever after as a recovered sex addict.

Rayne just has to find a man strong enough to truly love him.

Contains mature themes.

Mike and Rayne

Rayne is still battling his sex addition when he's released from the house where he met Wood and after his so-called uncle thinks he has better ways to pay him for rent, he escapes and takes Wood's offer to stay with him and his boyfriend. But Wood and Trent are still newly boyfriends and although they try to have sex when they think Rayne is not there are can't hear, the noises become too much. Not that he blames his friend, far from it. But as a recovering sex addict it's just very difficult to not crash his sobriety. Then Mikes comes to the rescue. A very broody and dangerous sexy man, and the total opposite to the men he used to play, but very protective of those he considers family. Mike has his own battles he's still fighting, but being near to the young man settles his anger issues and having loved a man before, old feelings that have been buried for a very long time, come to surface . This book is a nice closure of this series as all three Stockley men win their battles and find their peace. Tor Thom is the perfect narrator with his deep sexy voice.

Awww love all these guys

Another great reading from AE. Via but it also helps when the characters are awesome I thought it could have had a few more chapters in it, but that could just be me . Look it does exactly what it says on the tin …..also you need another book as I think Manny could have been brought into it a bit more , hey you could already have the next book nearly done but great book 5 *

Great Series

Enjoyed Mike and Raines story thought it went a bit flat about third of the way through but the story then picked up again both MC had issues Mike with his anger were Raine was able to calm him Raine with his sex addiction found Mike and love and overcome his addiction to men and sex. Tor Thom is a great narror one of my favourites wit his deep gravelly voice he did Mike's Voice to perfection. AE Via your books are incredible well done.

Shamefully simple resolutions

The author once again strings out amazing potential in stories by lightweight resolutions and thinly researched plot lines. Tor Thom is amazing as always, sadly the narrator’s talent is wasted on this author. If you’re in recovery don’t bother trying to find realism in this story
