Summary
I made my choice, and it wasn’t him. But Kingston Farrell won’t take no for an answer, and I’m not sure I want him to.
Noah gave me his mark, made me his, and vanished all in the same night. Kingston used that moment to claim me and bind me to him irrevocably. What he couldn’t know was by sealing our bond, he set something in motion none of us can stop. He unlocked my wolf, freed her from her cage, and she wants nothing more than to make up for lost time by starting off with a bang…literally. His mark throws me straight into my first heat. My wolf mate can give me his knot, but I’m insatiable. I need more. I need them all—my Norse demigod, my royal vampire, my fated wolf, and my tortured priest. But we can’t afford the distraction.
A war is brewing, and there’s no denying I’m at the center of it all. Not when girls who look just like me keep dying. I thought I’d gotten rid of the target on my back, but when I find myself in a demon’s clutches, I know it’s not over. Something evil is coming. It’s stalking my dreams. Making me second-guess everything. And with each new attack, one question looms: "What if that evil is me?"
Warning: This audiobook is not for the faint of heart. It contains an obsessive stalker; a foul-mouthed, inked, and pierced werewolf; a naughty professor with a fondness for watching; a god of mischief; and plenty of heat. If you don’t like your books spicy, your men broody, built, and more bad than good, this is not the series for you. But if you do...listen on, and welcome to The Mate Games.

Intoxicating sequel that consumes you
It is fair to say that I was more than excited for this book, having devoured Book 1, and the authors DID NOT disappoint me. It has taken me several weeks and a couple of re-listens to fully process my emotions - this series quite simply is shaping up to be one of my all time favourites.
Meg Anne and K Loraine manage to craft a beautiful balance between their underlying arching story of an impending paranormal apocalypse while delicately weaving in threads and characters from their own previous series but at the same time sprinkle through the intimate character scenes between Sunday and her four guys. It results in a truly absorbing read and I was literally praying for it never to end.
Fans of the more...."erotic" (apologies I keep getting censored by Amazon if I use stronger language) scenes will LOVE this one. One of the benefits of making your heroine a shifter experiencing several waves of Heat will result in several individual sessions with all her guys, including everyone's fave naughty priest, and the first of (what we hope) a wicked group scene. Reverse Harems - I'm starting to see the appeal :) I love how this book also sees the group coming together with Noah, Alek and Kingston coming together to be there for the woman they love. A very cute Thanksgiving scene awaits you.
But this book belongs to Kingston, who is by far my personal fave of four. The journey he goes on in this book is beautiful and heartbreaking and anyone who's ever experience the pain of unrequited love and rejection can't help but fall for him. JF Harding, who performs him in the audiobook, is spectacular at portraying the right balance of pain, vulnerability, affection, love and everything in between, Truly first class acting and this is the book that has made me a life long fan.
However, all of the perfectly assembled voice cast are amazing and it is just joyful to listen to. Stella Hunter is confirmed as my ultimate queen of narration - my audible library is overflowing with her titles, I defy you not to fall for her. Jason Clarke is clearly living his best life playing the tormented and broody Irish priest in a role that will just add to his growing legion of fans. Aaron Shedlock provides a pitch perfect performance of the playful and rugged Viking, Alek and on every re-listen I fall a little more under his spell, it truly is captivating to listen to. But it is James Joseph who I am personally obsessed with, he may be fairly new to the romance audio world but I truly believe it won't be long until he dominates the genre. His voice is pure liquid seduction as the vampire Noah and that alone would be enough but his acting range is truly remarkable, from sinister demons to my personal favourite a delightfully pompous angel Gabriel.
The real magic though, is when they all come together (much like the RH itself) - check out Chapter 26, the Society scene when the cast come together to populate an entire array of characters. For a self confessed audio drama fan, its stuff like this that I live for.
Overall, a truly brilliant read with a stellar cliffhanger which will leave you salivating for Book 3!!

I’m in love with this series!
Want more now!
I just finished listening to book 2 of The Mate Games and I can’t wait for more of this amazing adventure to continue. There’s so much more happening now. More evil surrounding Sunday and her men. More questions that need answers and tons of devious things about, that really kept me enchanted with hearing more about all of these characters. Heart stopping incidents where someone gets injured. More sensual sexy times with all of the guys. Mated now to missing vampire Noah, also mated to Alpha shifter Kingston, as well as finally sharing herself with Demi-God Alek and even Father Gallagher you would believe that all should be amazing for Sunday but there is so much amiss and we’re on pins and needles while we wait for the next book to come out.
I’m in awe of the suspenseful adventure that this series has, especially listening to the audiobook version complete with this amazing cast including Stella Hunter. JF Harding, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, Jason Clarke as well as Shane East. How can anyone not swoon over all these wonderful actors with an amazingly writing story.

Love ❤️ the narration and story
I love the story, the polyamory romance, all the very many kinky and steamy scenes, the drama, the battles. Can’t wait for the next book and let’s not forget the amazing narration. Having a full cast makes the experience so much better. Alek’s voice is hot 🥵 and Daddy Caleb has to get over it and do it already. On to book 3 now.

RH Paranormal Romance!
This is the second book in The Mate Games series, a RH Paranormal Romance. The story continues where the first book left off. Sunday and her men are fantastic characters : Noah (Thorne) Blackthorne (a vampire prince), Alek Nordson (a sweet demigod), Father Caleb Gallagher (a tormented priest), Kingston Farrell (an arrogant wolf shifter). Their chemistry is sizzling hot! The world building is intriguing and captivating. Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Shane East did an outstanding job with the narration. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

I’m in love
It’s official: I’m in love. I know, it’s a reverse harem, so the main interest is that the heroine has multiple lovers. But we can have preferences, right? And mine is Kingston. So, of course, I was excited to read his book–well, the other characters are here too, but it’s the book where Sunday chooses him as a love interest too. And I wasn’t disappointed.
As he showed in the previous book, he’s a lost little boy who’d had his heart broken and who didn’t know how to deal with it. We see less of the bully he’s become though, and more of the lovesick puppy. Literally, since he’s a werewolf! He’s a key character in Sunday’s arc too, as he’s the one who pushes her wolf to come forward. Because of their similar nature, and because of the feelings they shared all this time while keeping them a secret, when they finally meet for real, and get together, it’s hot!
In this book, Kingston isn’t Sunday’s only lover, and she has some alone time with other characters. Basically, with all her love interests. Together. Yes, you read it right! The previous book was steamy–this one will melt your insides.
And that’s because Sunday’s starting to understand who she is, and accepts it. And her urges. As in a true coming of age story, she’s growing into her own skin. And it isn’t an easy fit, as the revelations… I mean, without spoiling the story, there were a couple of interesting twists. The hint we got at the end of the previous book at a bigger story, one that could change the world, isn’t a hint anymore. Expect secret society, prophecies, the whole shebang.
And fights. This book is a bit more violent and gory than the previous one. I didn’t mind at all. My only complaint is that, clearly, the adults of the school are terrible at keeping their students alive. It’s puzzling that they don’t simply close the school and send the kids back home. Oh well. At least we get some exciting fights.
Thanks to the amazing cast, it’s definitely a book worth listening to. Once again, each narrator embodies their character perfectly. Special mention to Kingston’s narrator who blew my mind. I told you, I’m in love.

Forbidden, sinful, obsessive and full of steam!
This is the second book in the series, please read the first one Obsession before you get to this one. The Mate Games series continues, with our beloved characters, Sunday, Kingstone, Alek, Caleb and Thorne will have you on edge from start until the end. Sunday's story continues to develop, she finds more than she could ever imagine. Each of the guys has something special and also mysteries you need to discover. Each chapter, each scene is a full roller-coaster ride, it's steamy, and it's not for the faint of heart as the authors have warned.
The audiobook is narrated by Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Shane East. It's fantastic and the best way to enjoy this series, if you enjoy audiobooks you need to listen to this series, it's sinful if you don't as each narrator took their characters to the next level, the performance is fantastic, their voices will entice you with each minute and the story will have you wanting more. Now I need the next one, brilliant 5-stars!
P.S. They are all MINE!

Fantastic 🔥❤️🔥
This really does need to be made into a series or a movie collection. It’s probably one of the best fantasy books I’ve listened to so far. The characters are great and share an amazing chemistry. Huge fan of this series.

A must listen - I need more stars
Sometimes you read a book and sometimes it consumes you. This series is doing exactly that. If you thought Obsession hit all the right spots, you better hold on to your seat for Rejection because Kingston is changing hearts and minds in this book. He rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in Obsession, but in Rejection we find out more about his reasons and really get to see his vulnerability. And with that, we see the change in him. We see his relationship grow with Sunday and start to see Kingston, Thorne, and Alek really embrace the idea of being with her. They realise that they each have something unique that she needs, and their love for her overrides anything else. Daddy Caleb…well, he still needs some time. But he’s starting to come around slowly. There are some super spicy scenes…let’s just say Sunday is a lucky woman.
I am still team not choosing. I want them all.
What I love about this book (series) is that it has such an intriguing storyline with twists and turns aplenty. You are so focused on the story because you never know what revelations may happen.
Stella Hunter continues to reign supreme, voicing Sunday, and all of the female characters. I just love how every voice she does is so unique. Each of the male characters has moments of vulnerability and the voice actors do such an outstanding job of showcasing that. J.F. Harding and Jason Clarke especially. (Because we see more of their characters vulnerability) But not only that, but the banter between the characters is so seamless, it almost felt like J.F Harding, Aaron Shedlock, James Joseph, and Jason Clarke were just being recorded as they hung out. It was a really fun aspect to the audiobook. They all nailed their character and some voice other characters too. Giving each their own voice. Shane East does drop in as a special appearance as Lucas Blackthorne and it is fabulous.
This full-cast really is a how-to on casting. Each voice actor is perfect for the character. The production is seamless.
I am so excited to see where this story goes next and what the voices actors bring to it.
Bring on Possession. I need it!
