Pedro Urvi has risen again

With this latest book (15) the writer has taken the friends on towards their next great adventure. When you start a book or a series you think you have some idea where it will end up, but it makes it more exciting and intriguing to follow along on their journey. This series is starting to compete with the throne of glass series and the frith chronicles series. Really well done. Enjoy reading when you get to this point.

5 star this why?

the other single 1 star review covers it. still acting like dumb teenagers when they are mid tweentys.

this is another bloated story with little substance with too much verbal dioreha that's covers a chapter that should be a paragraph at most...

Redundant, slow & considers the audience to be idiots.

Characters still act 15 when they are closer to 25.

Lazgol does nothing but training he should have done 15 books ago.

Nilsa finally graduated from being a one note antimsgic complainer but others have taken her place. I could sum up the contribution of Vigo & Gurd to 3 gags or habits each.

Lazgol is reduced to being an idiot for lazy exposition. Which felt at times like Icewald was raising 2 magical animals, not just 1.

And Lazgols constant putting down of Camu remains frustrating. One of the worst pet owners I have ever read. I think Camu is being kept simple minded to facilitate that gag because any self respecting sentient being would have left or fought back long ago.

I suspect the scam artist writing these will continue to use AI tools to pump them out indefinitely.
