Amazing
Absolutely an amazing book. started reading the Rock chick series, but once Daisy's book was available on audio i had to have it. her story was heart breaking, but i completely fell in love with Marcus nearly straight from the beginning. Her story is so hard and touches on subjects some people will find distressing , but i promise if you can finish this book you will not be disappointed. This is the first book I've shed tears over with the ending (Sorry no spoilers about the ending)
Over all an AMAZING read/listen

The Daisy story
To finally read the story behind Daisy and Marcus was brilliant. I really enjoyed learning about them from the past to the present. I loved that he built her a castle as all the way through the Rock Chick series and "the castle" is mentioned it was almost hinted at being something a woman might design and build, but no he built it for her because she loves knights and true endings.
The epilogue had me reaching for my tissues but oh boy what a way to end!

Perfection but too short
I just wish it was longer. Daisy’s story is quite something. KA packed a lot in a short book but it was lovely to see sweet Daisy get her happy ending.
As always, Susannah Jones’ performance was perfection. The range of emotions we get from her voice is amazing and makes the story more intense.

A must listen to
Fantastic audiobook. It’s been a while wince I finished the rock chick series, and for some reason I just didn’t get round to this novella. I loved Daisy and Marcus’ story. The narration was excellent too

Short but sweet
This is a short book and I had already read this on kindle so I knew it would be good. This is the story of Marcus, who operates his business on the “wrong side of the law”, and his Dolly Parton lookalike ex-stripper wife. These two glorious stereotypes have appeared often in past Kristen Ashley books and like many readers I was fascinated by them both and how their relationship formed. It is typical of Ashley’s superb skill as a writer that two side characters can grow and develop to such an extent that the readers need to know more.
This is a love story about the meeting of two “soul mates”. Both are products of tragic childhoods and both fought hard to get away from poverty, using unconventional means that were the only avenues available to them. Their meeting and subsequent relationship starts with tragedy, but their path to happiness is fabulous to read and makes the reader really fall in love with both these characters. The epilogue and ending is Kristen Ashley at her best, but I do wish she had skipped the part where she roll-called every past couple from every previous book in the series. It was unnecessary and just drew the reader away from the magic bubble that we were enjoying with this very unique couple, because all I could think from this scene was where on earth did they manage to get last minute baby sitters for 17 kids???
