Silly Ending as Usual
Quite enjoyed this but as usual with this type of novel, the ending is a bit ridiculous. It's like the author just throws everything in, because that's the easiest way out. OK but had had enough by the end

Whose side am I supposed to be on?
OK I didn’t see the elegant twist coming at all ... nicely done.
I didn’t feel that any of the characters were authentic enough to have an attachment to. All of them were equally crafted so there was little emotional separation for me.
To be honest I find it uncomfortable when a disability/condition is used as a plot line on which much of the story hangs. I do feel that we should be able to have diverse characters without needing to use it as a plot piece.
Narration was great.

Ok but struggled with Stephanie Racine narrating
Story line was pretty good and I was curious to know the ending. But Stephanie Racine’s narration was quite annoying- she’d be better suited to children’s books.

Repeats
There were too many repetitive remarks which I found irritating but the storyline was intriguing and mostly entertaining, I am disabled and the book gave me many hours of pleasurable listening.

Captivating storyline
I nearly returned this book several times due to the way the female narrator overpronounced much of the script, it was so distracting (I really enjoyed her narration the rest of the time!) but I’m so glad I persevered, this is one of the best audiobooks I’ve heard. Hearing the main characters narrative from their own point of view gives you a fascinating viewpoint as the story unfolds. I don’t want to give anything away but there is plenty of suspense and no shortage of unexpected twists. I genuinely feel a bit sad to have reached the end of the book and I’m tempted to listen again to notice the ‘early signs’ of trouble!

Gripping
Many plot twists , some subtle and some obvious . The red thread carried all the way through. Narration excellent by both tellers .

Full of twists and turns
Certainly full of twists and turns but the characters were so unlikeable there were times I felt like giving up. I am still not sure of the significance of October
