Summary
Dom Harvey is a hugely popular radio DJ. He's known for his funny gags and has been described as a shock-jock. So it might come as a surprise to find out that Dom is also seriously into running - marathon running. In fact, he loves it.
This audiobook is a love story about running and about marathons especially. What got Dom into marathons? How did running save his life? And why, despite being an old fart, is he now trying to run even faster than ever before?
Dom is just a regular guy who drank too much alcohol and ate too much shitty food, then fell in love with running and turned his life around (and became a bit of a running nerd along the way).

Great book, good listen with a good few laughs along the way. Kept on the edge of your seat all of the journey.

Surprisingly Great
Don't normally go for sports biography. This is less the history of the great sportsman as an honest reflection on a great runner. Not the superstar of marathons but an ordinary joe who tries his best. His story makes it hard to put down.

Not Just for the Runners
This book gets better as it goes along I found the first few chapters hard going but I’m so pleased I stuck with it.

Gave up after 4 chapters
About to embark on my 2nd marathon I had hoped to be inspired but unfortunately this book is littered with bad language and innuendoes. Distasteful and cringeworthy.
