Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Shadow Tyrants by Clive Cussler and Boyd Morrison.

Nearly two thousand years ago, an Eastern emperor charged a small group with safeguarding a body of knowledge and secrets powerful enough to change the history of mankind. They went down in legend as the Nine Unknown Men - and now two rival factions of the descendants are fighting a mighty battle.

Both sides think they are saving the world, but one of them is willing to use horrifying means to accomplish its goals. Now it is up to Cabrillo and his team of expert operatives to stop both of them from the destructive path they're on, and save the earth from a dynasty of terror.

Another fast paced adventure

Another great adventure and I like the way they continue to have enemies from different countries other than the standard Russia, China or North Korea.

on yes it's more of the same, but none the less enjoyable for it. formulaic and possibly predictable but a good enough listen.

Silver medal this time not Gold

I enjoyed this book but not nearly as much as previous Oregon stories. There seemed to be a lot less action this time around. Will still keep listening though.

Eerily Plausible

This is a complete work of fiction - yet it is scarily, eerily, plausible. As usual, well written, fast paced and tense! I truly enjoy the stories in this series.

I’m sorry to have caught up with all of them now, just one more left to ‘read’.

Totally addictive.

I've listened/read to just about every Oregon files by Clive Cussler performed with Scott brick. I love the sound of Scotts voice and he certainly brings this book to life. I close my eyes and it's like watching a movie. Regards the storyline of Clive Cussler, Boyd Morrison, simply put, impossible to put down and very addictive. Highly recommend the series, start from the beginning, it's helpful in how events falls as you move through them but isn't essential.
Long live the Oregon Files and it's author's/narrator.. Already have the next one ready to go..
