About this listen

It’s only a matter of time before I destroy them all...A raging, bloodthirsty wolf isn’t the only deadly thing inside me. So, I have to do what I’ve always done best. Run.

Leaving my alphas and the first taste of love I’ve ever known is the only answer now.

And even when Fate steps in and puts us all back together, including a sexy new alpha with troubles of his own, I can’t stay. Even though it’s killing me to go.

The pain of being away from them will literally kill me, but no matter what happens to me, I can’t let them pay for my weakness.

I can’t save myself, but I can save them. I can save them from seeing what I will become...But my dominant alphas are better hunters than I am prey, and they’re determined to keep me...whatever the cost.

Couldn't put it down!

I loved this sequel to Shadowlands Sector One, which stopped at a thrilling Cliffhanger, and smoothly flowed into another intense, exciting instalment that had me on the edge of my seat. I was hooked from page one, desperate to know what was happening to Meira and her Alpha's, and what had happened to cause dissension in the Ash pack. I raced through this book in in sitting, and left me desperate for more, Chrys's narration really brought these characters to life with her expressive voice, I was dispapointed to reach the end, the next book can't arrive soon enough. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

naration was good but the story was becoming a bit boring/ predictable. A little bit of twist is the plot would be better

beware of the cliffhanger!

What's that cliffhanger? Every single thing that it could be it was!
Loved the story, surprisingly mainly the main characters because I grew a bit tired of the female's character reaction of running at every point. But i have a feeling that might change in the next book so bring it on!

not enough zombies

ok I did like this book, the growing friendship/love between Mira and the alphas is nice to see, that it's not just about the sex for them, they actually like her as a person and want her to survive in her own right is nice, but there was so much build up of the 'shadow beings' I thought they would play a bigger part.

I'm intrigued as to how the zombies happened, why are they there and why does the cancer in Mira's blood make her invisible to them? I know it's a Roman e but I do want more werewolves fighting zombies cos let's face it that's a fight everyone wants to see...

so some of the sex scenes are a bit cringy, I think at one point every variation you could think of was used to describe Mira's, yeah you get the picture

That being said major praise to Krys Janae for getting through those scenes and helping make characters that I actually like and care about, when Mira's wolf comes out at the end I was really happy for her and I really hope she gets to go on the revenge rampage she deserves. Janae also brings personality to each of the alphas, bringing their back stories to life in a way that makes you warm to them and understand some of their character flaws and actions.

Shadowlands Sector, Two

Fab, I ended up listen to this and then going back and listen to book 1 again and this this straight after. It is a good series that is a little bit different from the norm but works really well and you get involved with the characters throughout the books.

Fantastic Listen!

This was an excellent follow-up two the first book and the continuation of the Shadowlands Sector series. Mila Young is quite imaginative with world-building, the characters, and the supernatural elements while adding zombies to the premise. Meira shows more growth in this instalment; after running away from her Alphas mates, she realises it was a mistake. Furthermore, her illness is explained to her and why the infected don't respond to her. The storyline is centred around survival and romance; it's engaging, entertaining, suspenseful, and steamy. Meira and her Alphas, including her new mate, are great, their relationship continues to blossom and grow, and I'm totally invested in the outcome of their journey.

Krys Janae did a fantastic job with the narration. She breathed life into the characters making the story even more enjoyable. Shadowlands Sector is a well-written and entertaining paranormal reverse harem romance and worth the listen.

I need more

After the undead invaded the camp Meira took her chance and escaped . She thinks by running away she’s protecting everyone but her Alphas come after her they explain what her illness is and if she doesn’t shift she won’t have much time left. Another great book in the series and il looking forward to the next book.

So exciting

The second book in the series is a great listen. I really enjoyed this book. The author and narrator brought all the emotions out of the characters.
