Sleep in an Instant

I was listening to the words imagining the scene when I woke up hours later. I laughed to myself when I realised how effective this is for me. I literally fall off the edge of a sleep cliff.

Beautiful beyond words…..💚

A remarkable podcast on every level, simple in its concept but so many elements to sooth a tired mind. Natures sounds and scents, historical detail, myths and legends, the beauty of the natural world all wrapped up in Richards gentle beautiful voice.

Richard's soothing rough voice

The story itself wasn't that interesting to me, it was more about Richard's soothing, calming, gruff voice which I found very relaxing, plus the waves gave me the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I hope Richard is planning to do a lot more in the future.

Genuinely good for insomnia!

This is a wonderful album of thoughtfully written, beautifully produced tracks. Richard Armitage invites us to “escape to sleep”, setting the scene for some gorgeous ASMR soundscapes. His perfect pacing and calm, sensitive delivery are a delight. His voice is fabulous, as always. Above all, I found I fell asleep without fail every time I listened to one: they are brilliantly constructed. Incredibly relaxing!
THANK YOU to everyone who made this - it’s a real gift for anyone who often finds sleep hard to achieve!

Works every time

Mr Armitage's performance cannot be faulted. He has a wonderfully mellow voice, just perfect for relaxing and helping me to drift into a peaceful sleep - it really does work every time!
The quality of the writing is also excellent, masterfully balanced to engage my brain, but not overstimulate it, so it relaxes and soothes.
The choice of background sounds complements each story, allowing my mind to drift off until sleep takes over.
I often wake to find the whole 2hrs have played, yet I was only conscious of the first story!
Thank you 😊
