About this listen
This movie was supposed to be my big break. There’s an enormous budget, the director is an Oscar winner, and the script is beautiful.
But they want to film it in February. That’s complicated for an arctic fox shifter like me. We have a biological need for prolonged physical contact during burrowing season. I normally spend February cuddling with my family, not filming a movie in the middle of the woods.
The studio said they’d find a professional cuddler for me. That seemed a little awkward, but I agreed to it. I figured they’d hire a woman or another male omega. But no.
They hired Dimitri Cross.
He’s the retired NHL player I spent my teenage years drooling over. Technically, he’s an arctic fox shifter too, but he’s also half grizzly shifter—and an alpha—so he’s built like a tank. I’ve always had a weakness for huge jocks who could throw me over their shoulder.
How am I supposed to cuddle with this guy all month if I can’t even go near him without getting butterflies in my stomach?
What am I going to do?
Snuggleslut is a low-angst romance set in the Omegaverse with a size difference, knotting, and mpreg. It’s book two in the Burrowing Hearts series, but it stands alone.

Sweet and magical!
I've read many books by the author and I really really really love all the different shifter traditions we see in each book. I find them fascinating and I honestly could read a hundred books about all the different shifters in this universe. And I also love the magical system.
Evan and Dimitri were super cute together and had absolutely explosive chemistry . I loved reading their journey to their happily ever after. They faced a lot of obstacles but their love won in the end. This was wonderful, I loved every minute and I thought that the narrator was brilliant and brought the characters to life beautifully.

Wonderful story and performance
I love the way this author can take some natural aspect of an animal, here the arctic fox and imagine the complications being that sort of shifter would pose in the real world as one tried to hold down a job and have a life on the human side. Here, Evan gets his break on a movie that films during the time he's normally burrowing and cuddling. Easily solved the movie company says, we'll hire you a professional cuddler. And they do, and he's an alpha who has rebuilt his life after hockey into one where his career is helping other shifters and Evan's had a crush on him from Dimitri's hockey days. As expected in a romance, cuddle these two do and so much more. Adored the world building and the characters here when I read the book and now to hear these characters brought to life by Lance West was fantastic. There's so much warmth he brings to Evan and Dimitri that you feel the cuddles.

cute and sweet
Amy Burrows is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to expect.
I enjoyed the story and how it developed and the narration was good.
I will listen to more of her stories and recommend this audible if you like sweet low angst books.

Cuddles and love
This is the second book in the 'Burrowing Hearts' series about fox shifters and their burrowing month (February). I am loving the way how this author creates her shifter worlds infused with a bit of magic when needed.
This second one is about Evan, an artic omega fox shifter at the begining of his career and Dimitri, an artic fox/ grizzly bear mix shifter with native heritage, starting a new career as a professional cuddler after a succesful hockey career. This was a wonderful cuddly and hot read with a new way to re-establish a bond that was not fully formed. I also appreciate the epilogue, which is a bit further along in time and shows the Alpha as a great caring and supportive parent and partner for his omega partner who is doing really well career wise. And I also did like the nods to earlier books by the author. The author created a story that drew me in and I was happy to find the hea.
Audiobook:
The narration by Lance West was spot on as I am expecting by the narrator at this point. His narratiin fits the difderwnt tones of the storylline really well.

Snuggle, cuddle, hug .... that's a yes from me!
I just finished listening to Snuggleslut and now I just want to run around hugging everyone! This beautiful story leaves you with a lovely warmness that you can't help but grin like a maniac and want to snuggle with the cat (or dog, whatever you prefer lol).
The way Evan and Dimitri respected each other and their thoughts and feelings I really think made for a most enjoyable read.
I totally want a Dimitri of my own, someone big and cudldey *swoon*.
Lance West did a fantastic job with narration, thank you for making Evan and Dimitri real to me.

Hot and sweet
Hot, low-angst omegaverse story about omega actor and a professional cuddler. They're supposed to just cuddle but you can guess how it goes 😁.
This book has probably the hottest knotting scene ever! The narrator is really good especially in hot scenes.
I love the world building in this series. This book probably works as a standalone but it's better to read previous book first.

A cute shifter story
In my opinion, Snuggleslut can be read or listened to as a standalone. At least I didn't listen to the first volume and it didn't feel like I was missing any information.
I like the author's wonderful writing style and I love the construction of her shifter worlds.
Evan, an Omega Fox shifter is at the beginning of his career. And since the shoot is supposed to take place in February, he needs a professional cuddler because that is the burrowing month. He gets this in the form of Dimitri, an artic fox/ grizzly bear mix shifter, who has ended his hockey career and is now doing something else.
But what happens when there's more than just cuddling?
Amy Bellows has created sympathetic characters who are trying to find a way for themselves. An entertaining, sweet and cuddly audiobook with a sweet happy ending.
Lance West did a good job and his narration fits each shifter well.

Fab
This is a fab story and I loved how they had an instant connection though it’s not meant to happen. I also really enjoyed following how they became bonded. There are steamy scenes and I love the nesting. Lance does a brill job in bringing the characters to life.

Sweet low angst
A sweet, low angst novel. Unlike recent Alpha/Omega novels I've read recently, both leads are equals, which I find refreshing.
Maybe because there is no conflict, nothing of note happens until midway through which I found frustrating, but there are readers out there who will find this a plus.

Sweet and steamy
Story = 5 stars
Narration = 5 stars
This is such a great series. I think I loved this one even more than the first, which is surprising cause I thought that one was pretty much fabulous and hard to beat. I loved everything about this book. The characters were loveable and they had smoking hot chemistry. The plot was equal parts super sweet and super steamy. The heat was kicked up majorly in this book with some additional kinks that were a pleasant surprise and helped balance out all the snuggly cuteness. I would consider this a little angsty depending on how you look at it. The assumption of a HEA was always there based on the previous book and knowing how this author writes, so I didn't find it too angsty but there is alot of push and pull in getting there due to them supposed to being in a short term temporay business contract. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone that likes cuteness with some major non vanilla heat.
The narrator Lance gave a phenomenal performance. He brought the story to life. He expressed all the emotions and gave unique voices to all the characters that suited them well and made it a pleasure to listen to.
