Like similar books you know the main characters will fall in love but how these characters will manage to overcome all to be together is a total surprise.

Nicely written, entertaining plot line with a clear speaking narator.

My only bug bear is that the Narrator has a tendency to add eeeee to end of most words she utters. Not sure why she does it, it is annoying and spoils the flow.

I don’t easily give a 5 star but this book has really entertaining me. I couldn’t stop listening to it. Did all in one day. It’s light with just the right amount of suspense and plot twists. A bit too many impossible coincidences happening but easy to forgive as gives the result/direction the story needs. If anyone reading this is thinking in downloading, go for it and enjoy.

One of the best historical romance I have listened to for a while. The story is original the characters likable. Story has a bit of everything, humour, drama, romance, mystery. Would greatly recommend.
