Meet Alexander Krup, your average high school graduate turned video game beta tester. Working for a strange company nobody has ever heard of, he earns his pay by the achievement.
After a string of bad luck, including his girlfriend dumping him, he wakes up one seemingly average day and is suddenly faced with blue boxes of text that float in the air. While coming to grips with the fact that he might by hallucinating, a representative of his mysterious employer communicates through the menu boxes to offer a fresh life in another world.
With nothing left to lose, Alexander takes the offer and is sent hurtling into a fantasy world both like and unlike any game he's played before.
Now, he must choose an alignment.
Will he seek Renown or Infamy? One way or another, Alex will leave a mark… or will it be a stain?

Very enjoyable listen
Really liked the story and character development - it's a very good and enjoyable litRPG. Only thing I'd change is a little bit of the all the relationship stuff but overall a worthy listen

Want to start and end at the bottom? I Noah a guy
Start Menu: New Game by Kos Play, narrated by Will Collyer and published by @AethonBooks. I very much enjoyed this #litRPG with its competitive nature and where nothing is given out for free. All I can say is get ready for the awesome sauce that follows.
Our MC Alexander is at the back of the pack from the start. His first dwelling is made of soft sticks and nothing is handed to him on a plate. My only hope for the next book is that Alexander can get up at least one rung of the ladder. I also loved Alexander's handler... whenever there was a need for them to speak away from prying ears, she simply got naked. This is the first audiobook I have listened to by Kos Play and it certainly won't be the last. It was well written and the direction of the story was clear. I am looking forward to the sequel

feels like a first atempt in a genre thats unknow
charecters makes non-sensical desisions, skill/xp system increases in stats/abilitys dosent make sence.
reads like a teenage love story/tirangle. with somthing added on as filler
