Damien ‘Stone’ Sloan hates me. I have no idea what I did to the guy. Despite being gorgeous, he scares me a little. He’s bigger than me, and I have doubts he even knows how to smile. I have to put on a brave face and show how much he doesn’t affect me. Fine, I like to tease him a little too much. I probably have some death wish. But underneath all those growls and scowls is fear and pain. You can see it when his walls come down, even if it’s for a second. Everything in me wants to peek over those walls and see what’s really behind them. I’m invested now. Who are you, Stone?

Stix and Stone is the first book in the Alpha's Rejects series, I have read this series completely out of order but I'm so glad that I finally picked this up.

I listened to the audiobook for this, and I absolutely devoured this book from beginning to end. I really enjoy the dynamic between these characters and I truly did not want this book to end.

If you haven't picked up this book or series yet, I would highly highly recommend.

This was the story that introduce me to Courtney W Dixon and I have got a soft spot when it comes to Stix and Stone. So when the audiobook came out I was eager to listening to their story.
Harley Chase did a great job with the narration and the characters were easily recognisable some of my favourite scenes were the ones involving Nova and I could close my eyes and see an excitable 5 year spending time with her brother.
Listening to this brought it back and I enjoyed reliving Stix and Stone going from enemies to lovers. Listening to Stone's backstory made it all real and I felt he was in the room telling me what had happened.
I am looking forward to seeing how the narration of Pippin and Nacho will be

I LOVED this book. The Alpha's Rejects series is one of my absolute favorites. Narrator Harley Chase takes it to another level with his interpretation. Bravo! A masterpiece!

I absolutely adored these two very broken but very sweet boys! Their chemistry was perfection. Harley Chase did a phenomenal job narrating! I can’t wait for Pippin & Nacho’s audiobook to be released so I can spend more time with Stix & Stone and all their friends.

Stix and Stone is the first book in the Alpha Rejects series. This found family book is full of trauma and concludes with a hard earned HEA. This was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me as I truly felt for these characters. I loved the use of memories to get to know the characters more fully and explain their reactions even when the character hadn't quite worked it out yet. This MM romance is Dual POV which worked perfectly and concludes with an epilogue.

Reread as audiobook. Excellent narration, which pushed this book up another star for me.
Story - 4 stars. Stix was a really interesting character, and Stone was absolutely delightful to read. Their first interactions and their mutual dislike were really well written. The difficult living situations for all the characters - despite having multiple jobs they can still barely survive let alone get reasonable health care - was well portrayed and made me thankful yet again that I don't live in the US. Somehow, though, as the story continued, they became too nice and fluffy compared to the gritty first part. The HEA was very satisfying.

I love love love this series anyway so getting an audio with it Hell Yes!!! Perfect narrator for both but stix is my fave and it was so good to hear him In Person! You won’t regret this audio at all if you love eneimies to lovers, first times, spicey scenes, rejects & trauma..
