I appreciated the author connecting toxic behaviors with our personal histories and our hidden wounds. Her emphasis on the body connections between brain and gut as well as the body storing trauma and stress were very helpful. Because I live in MI, I remember the 2014 Flint water crisis making the section on toxins in the body more vivid for me. (Toxins in the body lead to toxic behaviors.) I also have PTSD and learned something new: PTG. Thanks for your comprehensive approach!
