About this listen
Being a mom is an exhausting, nerve-wrecking, and oftentimes thankless job.
When we are not able to take the time to care for ourselves, all those anxieties and stresses we are feeling often affect those closest to us and have a very negative impact.
Raising a child with ADHD or other neurodivergent disorders can certainly make us feel defeated as parents. There is a small group of other moms who can understand what you may be going through, and I am part of that group. Our opportunity to raise these children is a much different path than other "normal" parents. Not only will we have a more difficult path, but we also get to be the moms to some of the most creative and unique kids.
I realized I needed a change in my life, as the more negative my thoughts were, the more I projected the negativity onto my kids and family. Negative thoughts can be just as powerful as positive thoughts, but with much different outcomes. This audiobook is meant to help you convert your negative thoughts into positive thoughts to help you achieve a much more positive life for both you and your family.
These affirmations should be repeated out loud and with conviction. The book is separated into three categories: morning affirmations, bedtime affirmations, and "I need a minute" affirmations. You can always repeat these affirmations whenever you feel the need to, as you can never practice your affirmations too often.
The goal is to to think positive, attract positive vibes, build your confidence as a strong parent and individual, and believe that anything is possible as long you set your mind to it. Remember that situations are only temporary and nothing is permanent.
Can you really say you do not have five minutes to change your life? Download this audiobook and let your journey begin.

A mama must have!
This is an absolute must for any mother who is struggling with a difficult child or one with bigger issues like ADHD. I've seen first hand how tough it can be trying to raise a child with these issues and it can cause so must distress to the mother which is not a healthy mix. This audiobook is so uplighting, soothing and confidence building. What's so nice is that the narration is so calming and reassuring. The affirmations bring so much clarity so mums can start their day the right way, feeling refreshed and ready to take on the challenges that they will face. A happier mama means she will have more strength and be in control!

Great resource for parents!
I love how you don’t have to listen to this audiobook in one go. It is split up so you can access the affirmations depending on your situation and/or time of day. It really emphasises how important self-care is as busy parents, particularly with children with ADHD and other conditions to help reduce burnout. The affirmations are short and to the point, and you’re given a chance to repeat them as the audiobook plays to really get the most out of it. If affirmations are your thing and you’re a parent that needs a break, this audiobook is for you!

An amazing way to de-stress!
Having a child with ADHD can be both stressful and time consuming. We all love our children but as parents and particularly in this case, mums need to have a good state of mental health in order to cope with the daily challenges that come with it.
What I love about this audiobook is that the author clearly has an amazing understanding about the subject matter and the affirmations are so positive and calming. The narrator also keeps you focused and engaged. Affirmation like "I'm going to stay focused on progress and not perfection" are really reassuring and helps you focus on realistic goals and expectations. The background music has a good vibe.
Would highly recommend this book for any mums who feel like they need everyday support to help them stay in the right frame of mind.

Changed my life!
Love this book. I listen every night (I try the mornings, but that’s usually a stressful time of day for me) this book has really opened my eyes and made me think differently about my approach, the main emphasis Is that we are all on our own journey and should except the place we and our children are at. It’s really important to stop comparing ourselves to others. I used to feel like a failure after a bad day, but changing your mind and shifting to positive thinking has really helped me. Highly recommend!
