Summary

Katherine Nichols knew she’d had too many drinks, but they were only going a short distance. “There’s no traffic anyway,” Eve had pointed out. And they'd had such a great night out, the two of them. Even now, driving them home and knowing she shouldn’t, seemed almost mischievous. All part of the fun. Not anymore.

If anyone ever found out about the accident, it would ruin Katherine’s life. It would destroy everything she's worked for. And then there's her daughter Abigail. What would happen to her? But no one has to know because Eve was there, too, and she’s going to help make it all go away. Except Katherine is about to find out that this isn't the end of the nightmare....

It's the beginning.

I love this author

The story was brilliant, I love Natalie barelli but the narrator sounds like a robot
I have listened to most of her books now and I love them all

Good story, liked the twist, shame the narrator ruined it.

I loved the novels by Natalie Barelli, I bought almost all of them. I listened to so many audio books, so I know a bad narration when I hear one. This one had the worst narration, almost like a robot trying to impersonate human voice. It completely detached from the characters. I thought I could bear it, I would have given up if the story wasn’t so gripping.

Nothing wrong, just my taste in books.

I tried but I couldn’t get into this novel. I think it’s mainly because I’m more of a crime genre girl than a thriller. I also have to gel with the narrator. Just nit fir me.

So disappointing

I enjoyed the previous two books and thought I would give this one a try despite so indifferent reviews. I nearly gave up and returned the book so many times mainly due to the absolutely appalling narrator. Her “Scottish” accent was so bad. I only gave one star for performance because there is no provision for a zero rating.

The story was predictable, the characters were thoroughly unlikeable. So so disappointing

Bloody Awful.

I cannot begin to understand this book due to the Narrator. One hour of listening, and the book seems terribly shallow. The Narrator, attempting a Scottish accent was Hysterical! The price of the book... really????
As the old English saying goes... "you can't polish a stool'
Not for me!
