Summary
A shadow follows Sophie. Watching. Waiting.

Absolutely loved this book. Normally I can figure out the ending but not this time it was excellent at the twists and turns

Good story .. but hated the narration
I really struggled with the narrators voice she made all the characters sound like old men and women. Even though the main character Sophie was supposed to be 35 she sounded 75. The story was good but the ending weak.

couldn't stop.listening
wasn't sure at the beginning as I didn't know if I'd like the narrators voice and accent but once I'd got into the book I was gripped . I couldn't stop listening , it was a fantastic story with great characters and it kept me guessing

Not for me
I just didn’t think an awful lot happened for a long time and then when it did I found it quite confusing. I normally like this author’s books but this one wasn’t a hit for me.

Very descriptive, dark story
Very descriptive, I worked out the missing link very early on. Good narrator. Similar story line to other of the authors books.

Is was ok.
It was a slow, boring story. The ending was ok. Trigger warning for anyone that's going through or gone through a family member having alzheimer's as this is most of the story.

Gave up
Gave up. I am not trying to be rude but I could not get past the old and whiny sounding for 35 year old?? Main character’s voice. It would be fine for an elderly person but it inhibited my visualising. I suppose it is a matter of taste but I could not past the voice and quit! I normally enjoy this author but not this voice.

Great story
Would recommend this book, although its free i would say its worth a credit. Great twist at the end, keeps you guessing all the way through. Listened to it within two days, i was hooked!!
