About this listen
If you think ghosts are only responsible for hauntings, think again. The Demonologist reveals the grave religious process behind supernatural events and how it can happen to you. Used as a text in seminaries and classrooms, this is one book you can't put down. For over five decades, Ed and Loraine Warren have been considered America's foremost experts on demonology and exorcism. With over 3,000 investigations to their credit, they reveal what actually breaks the peace in haunted houses. The book was expertly written by Gerald Daniel Brittle, a nonfiction writer with advanced degrees in literature and psychology, specializing in mystical theology. Don't miss the Warrens in the new blockbuster movie The Conjuring.

A great book
a lot of what the Warren says quite true in certain aspects of my life someone negative and you have had to face is always bringing me down so this book is so giving me some sort of understanding as to what's happening in my world in the real world so I can understand why Ed and Lorraine Warren talk about love life and happiness to drive off evil spirits I think it's well worth a read and I think it's very important you do

overall very good
the book itself was very enjoyable, a good set of stories and explains why the warrens had such a successful career. it is very much from their view point as to why the things they say they experienced happened.
This is from their Catholic views. I perform my own paranormal investigations on a regular basis and I have never seen nor experienced anything like this at all. that is not to say however they have not. however the religious parts which at times they really go in to seem so far fetched but I understand that again this is all from their point of view.
still the book was a good 12 hours of would entertainment .

For all the paranormal geeks
thoroughly enjoyed the book, finished in less than 48 hours.
being a massive fan of shows like Ghost Adventures it was a great listen. The details and descriptions take you up close to the activity. There are another few books in the series so i'll be getting them as well

Laughing at chapter 3
Apparently there was a ghost stealing physical items and pinching items from a wallet in a sheriff station. I guess that's one way for the sheriff to avoid getting caught, blame the ghost! lol

Fascinating
Like every book on the Warrens, full of of incredible detail and how it’s not just ‘demons can getcha’, but why they can manifest and understanding the process of possession, very insightful, didn’t believe in God much but I might feel more convinced now.

Loved it!
I was compelled to read this book almost in one sitting. I have heard of Ed and Lorraine Warren and know that they attracted supporters and also sceptics over their 'powers.'
My viewpoint was 'sit on the fence' until I listened to this book. It's layout, as a chat between friends reminiscing, or relating advice
to those who have experienced ghost attacks makes it easy to listen to.
I fully believe that the Warren's have witnessed the paranormal events that they claim to have seen. This book must be quite old as Ed Warren passed away some time ago but in his time, he helped many people.
A good listen. An insight as to how the Church views hauntings, Demons and Exorcism. I found myself wanting to hear more!
