Summary

In less than a day, everything they’ve ever known vanished and the world fell into chaos. Uncertain where to turn and who to trust in this strange new world, they must band together in an attempt to survive. A perfect follow up to book 1

The storyline continues to grip as new events are introduced. All the characters are believable and interesting to follow. I can't wait to hear the next book.

Good but I hoped for more.

After the first book I'd had realy high hopes of an apocalyptic adventure that was fresh and some what original.
I think what the protagonist were going through was more than enough without the additional threat that has been introduced in book two.
Unfortunately it has lead to the usual cliche set pieces that is in every such story.

Gutted the rest of the series is not on Audible

I've really enjoyed the first two books in this series. An unusual series of events that had me hooked. BUT the last two books in the series are not on Audible. I'm gutted. As a disabled "reader" audio books make reading accessible for me so I can't just buy the book or e-book and reading softwares do not come anywhere close to a narrator. 😢

The narration on these is good but his voices are a little limited and I'm sometimes a little confused who has spoken. But was not bad enough to ruin enjoyment.

Pretty good

Good continuation from the first if somewhat predictable. The characters could do with more development to give them greater depths

Loved it !

If you are looking at this review , you’ve probably read the first one. If you haven’t then you really should.
Book two was as packed with drama as book one . There was still plenty of new and crazy disasters so that it wasn’t repetitive.
I am going to look for a book three now and I’m so nervous in case there isn’t one. I really need to know what happens next and is everyone ok .
I love the narrator too

Relentless

I really hope there are plans to record the rest of this series so I can listen on audible. It is so good. Including the first book we are just onto the third day since the earthquakes, tsunamis and disasters began. Now there is the threat from other humans as they become changed and deadly. The pace is relentless and it is a tense and engrossing listen. I'm really rooting for the survivors and desperate for the next book. Character development and the narrator are both very good.
