really enjoyed this book. thought this one was very clever, takes you back to the first book. my fait runs side by side with judge pullman so this will most probably be my last adventure with charles. 🫡 its been great.

I have previously listened to this entire series and thoroughly enjoyed them all. This one is terrific!
I cannot wait for number 11!

Simon Michael's knowledge and experience is really brought to life in his amazing drama. Colin Mace as narrator is a perfect complement so much so that you feel like you are in the Old Bailey sitting right next to Mr Holborne.

If you have not enjoyed this series yet, please have a go. Simon Michael not only has amazing stories to tell based on real events, but also develops the characters throughout the series so that you feel you know them all personally.

It a great journey and I can't wait for it to continue. Roll on number 11!

Yet another, great storyline from Simon Michael. More trials and tribulations, for Charles Horowitz. This is truly a most enjoyable series, superbly performed, yet again, by Colin Mace. Really looking forward to book 11.

Another outstanding story by Simon & wonderfully read by Colin - 10 books in and they remain fantastic. Charles Holborne is one of the great characters in books that grip you - I lose myself in his world the moment I start listening. Hope the wait for book 11 isn’t too long! Superb. 👍

My favourite series of books … ever!

If you have something important planned for the weekend, do not start this book !! Yet again, Simon Michael has produced another page-turning, gripping story that you just can't stop listening to. The combination of historical detail combined with the suspenseful narrative only adds to this legal thriller. If you are a fan of legal dramas and historical crime, this is the book to read. The Charles Holborne books are phenomenal. They are cleverly written and the author takes you back as if you are living in the 1960's again. Colin Mace is one of the best narrators out there - his performance is flawless and only adds to the tension and suspense in the courtroom but also the emotion with Charles and his family. All of the Charles Holborne books are worth the read / listen, its just disappointing when you finish the book and the next in the series has not been released yet. I can't wait for the next chapter in Charles Holborne's life
