Summary
From the stranger in the car, to the madman at her door....
Perfect for fans of Liane Moriarty, Shari Lapena and Lisa Jewell.
The day my path crossed with Simon Fox I thought I’d already lost everything, but then he almost ran me off the road with his flash car and belittling jibes.
The men in my life had undermined me for too long.
Enough was enough.
Fuelled by alcohol and the desire to get even, I decided a spot of petty vandalism would make me feel a whole lot better.
Wrong. Very wrong....
I hadn’t realised that Simon Fox was not a man to be messed with.
He showed me just how much I still had left to lose.
Soon I was battling for my home, family and life.

This was a fantastic listen.
The twist and turns in this novel we’re intriguing. I never saw some of the rust and turns coming, this was well written and well read. Would wholly recommend this audiobook to anyone who likes a bit of a mystery drama.

Good Book but Narration Not So Good!
I have listened to the Gemma Rogers books that are included on Audible and really enjoyed them. As such I decided to purchase The Feud knowing it would be a good listen.
I can’t lie, the narration was poles apart from the others I had listened to - way more animated and the emphasis on certain words within a sentence weren’t used grammatically. It irritated me from the start. The fact that I had purchased the book and I knew Gemma to be an author I enjoyed was enough to make me persevere.
The voice the Narrator used for Tim was cringe worthy and thankfully Peter only had a brief part, so I didn’t have to listen to the God awful attempt at a Birmingham accent for an inordinate amount of time - small mercy!
If you can get past the bad narration, you’ll enjoy the storyline.

Keeps you guessing until the end!
Gemma Rogers has done it again with another gritty and twisty dark atmospheric story.
She shows how a spare of the moment decision can change the course of your life..and not in a good way!
Just as you think you know where the story is going there’s another red herring to throw you off.
I think her books would make an excellent television series! Take note BBC Drama and Netflix!!
If you’re looking for a book you can’t put down, you’ve chosen the right one!

Enjoyed this book
Good storyline. Narrator did a convincing performance because I really disliked the voice of the main character at first. Good listen.

Good story awful narration
I like Gemmas stories but this one was difficult to get into because of the awful narration. I may give this reader a miss for any other books as I found it really off-putting

*Consequences*
This book had me screaming at the main character Kay at one minute and the next, I was rooting for her.
Kay is married to Jonathan they have twins a boy and girl teenagers. One day Jonathan decides to move out as he says he no longer loves her and moves on with another woman.
Kay is in turmoil and one day she gets cut up on the road by a guy in a flash car, not only was this the last straw this man is like no other as she realises he lives in the house she has always dreamt of. She keys his car thinking that would be the end of it but no. The police turn up she lies and things go downhill.
This man Simon Fox has his hands in so many pies and the more she learns about him the worse things get. Soon she is in fear of her safety while fighting her employers not to mention her estranged husband.
The level of deception in the behaviour of her husband makes her realise too late that a deal has been made by the devil and not only is she a target but those she holds dear will be affected.
How will it all end and will she live to rue the day her path ever crossed with Simon Fox.
