I failed to see the ending. I finished listening to the story but didn't really enjoy it. I struggled to find empathy for Julian, though felt I should. A weak man in many ways. Spineless even!
Gabriel, a man of intrigue, though his character is never fully revealed, which was fine.

Didn’t like the 2 main male characters Jeremy and Gabrielle. Perhaps we weren’t supposed to. Jeremy was sad & boring whilst Gabrielle was so transparent yet we were supposed to be surprised when he was found out.
Kept going in the hope Jeremy saw sense but ho hum.

Couldn’t wait to finish this and find out the ending, I loved the suspense in it. Slightly slow to get into but it’s brilliant once it gets going.

Narrator is fantastic too and is talented at doing accents.
