Bellefleur has written another lovely romance. I’m not sure I’d put it in the ‘romantic comedy’ category but it was a well told story of girl meets girl, girl discovers other girl has been pretending to date her, girl needs that sort of arrangement but ups the game and then enter the family from hell. That’s all right off the bat so no spoilers!

Although the story is far fetched, the relationship between the main characters is sweet and their banter is hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed this book listening to it in 2 days . The narrator's talent made it easy to distinguish between characters and the authors writing made it easy to imagine the scenes she set.

Alexandria Bellefleur writes with such energy and charisma the reader is swept along with the characters on this romantic journey. The main characters are wonderful - witty, charming and believable. The side characters bring life and laughter. This is a great retelling of a very familiar story. Far fetched in places but always enjoyable.

Lauren Sweet’s narration is superb.

What can I say, it's amazing. You want a book with comedy, laugh out loud moments (thankyou Teddy), great characters, and true love found in unexpected places this is the audiobook for you. Such a satisfying ending and a beautiful story, which was beautifully narrated. 10/10.
