About this listen

Two happy couples.

One dead body.

A whole load of secrets.

Married life wasn't meant to start like this.

On honeymoon in Bali, you hit it off with another newlywed couple and celebrate your last night at a fancy cliff-side restaurant.

No one predicted the evening would end with a dead body. But it was an accident, right? A tragic accident.

The honeymoon may be over but it soon becomes clear that there's another side to this story . . . and your life depends on uncovering it.

Many marriages can survive anything – but when it starts on a lie is it really 'til death do us part?

Very entertaining

This is a rather tense whodunnit … keeping you guessing and changing your mind throughout
Good narration

Great start with a disappointing end

The story had me gripped at the start, but it soon became dull. It took a somewhat ridiculous turn near the end with the whole "wedding ring" thing (really?! come on!), which really ruined it for me, and the twist was extremely underwhelming. However, the narration was fantastic, although I physically cringed every time they said, "making love" to describe every single intimate encounter. Overall, I would sum this up as "meh".

Not for me

This did out start out very good with a great premise. I liked the Sophia and Mark storyline i also thought the ending was good and suspenseful. After a promising start for me this descended to sophomoric posturing with the character of Erin constantly in a panic with lots of over the top drama. cue hands sweating, cold fear, throwing up etc. I didn't listen long enough to realize there was more than one narrator but the narration was good. I couldn't listen the the middle bit and ended up fast forwarding.

Confusing at times

I found the story a little confusing in places and was not quite sure who was speaking at times
I think the plot was well thought out but the style of the author’s writing didn’t draw me in

Twisty and engaging

I have small attention span and once I got to grips with who was who and with whom I was gripped and listened to the entire thing within 2 days!
Has a very Death in Paradise feel to it, which I absolutely love. Don’t want to give anything away but was very easy to visualise the characters and the scenarios, scarily its not too far fetched which made it more enjoyable 😊
