I love Santa Montefiore audiobooks. Exotic places, lovable characters, well mostly! The narrator is extremely capable with many voices in her repertoire. A thoroughly enjoyable listen.

It’s the second time I’ve read this over several years and it’s still a wonderful book. Plenty of great characters plus an equally excellent storyline. Santa always brings her personalities to life, you can imagine them walking onto the terrace! I highly recommend this novel… for the second time!

Great holiday read

Close your eyes and you can feel the heat of the afternoon and the scent of lemons. The storyline will keep you alert while the vivid desciption of the South of Italy will make you want to rush and book your next holiday there. The characters are very real and their story compelling, all the more intriguing by the mysterious Francesco.

I did get to the end of this, but at times it was a close-run thing. In the end I just wanted to finish it and move on. I've listened to better books by Santa Montefiore and I was disappointed with this one, it seemed to be such a lovely setting and interesting premise

Such a rich and decadent listen. This narrator has done a wonderful job. I felt I was in Italy! Wonderful characters... sad, hopeful and comical. Beautiful book.
