Brilliant
Yet another gorgeous book by Cathy Bramley.
Strong characters, twists and turns that you weren't expecting full of humour and tears a delightful read.
Another one I had a job to put down.
Coleen Prendagast 's narrating adds to the warmth of the book , her clever use of voices gives each character their individuality.
looking forward to my next read Wickham hall.

Actually quite good
Would you listen to The Lemon Tree Café again? Why?
Maybe. It had a few twists and turns, not normally seen in this style of book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Lemon Tree Café?
Interesting family dynamics. I like the bits about building up the business and trying to come up with new ideas etc.
Have you listened to any of Colleen Prendergast’s other performances? How does this one compare?
About the same.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
Much better than previous book. This one had some surprises. Still too much romance for me. And the main character is completely different to her personality in previous book. People can change, but not like this; so was unrealistic.

A delight
I chose the lemon tree cafe as it had links to another food Cathy’sbookswill leave you guessing on which one. With Audible I set the timer for 60 minutes invariably fall asleep so keep going back in minutes to where I remember this book was beautiful heartwarming kind and I will listen to again.

A 4-part beauty!
I really like Colleen Prendergast as a narrator. She has a quality that makes me listen more intently to the story than other narrators seem to have, in my opinion.
This story was great. I realised part-way through that another story must have come before this but it didn't take away any enjoyment for me - it's just made me curious to find the prequel!
I liked all the characters and, due mainly to Cathy Bramley's superb writing skills but also to the narrator's charisma, I found myself predicting what the characters might do and how they might react to particular situations.
A thoroughly enjoyable listen and highly recommended for some away-time for the brain.

Another triumph by Cathy.
Another well written book, which im pleased to say! It took me right back to my time in Sorentto which really helped me connect with this book.
Although I may not agree with all reactions and resolutions in this book, I am human enough to know we all react differently and we all find our own way to heal.
Colleen has to be one of my favourite narrators, I'm so glad she was reading this in the collection of books.
If you're looking for an inspiring, easy listening, happy ending story then this is for you.
Brava Cathy x
