Summary
Harness your mind-body connection for lasting ease and well-being
In our busy, get-it-done-now culture, stress has become the new normal - a normal that's embedding itself into our minds and our bodies. If left unchecked, stress can dictate how we think, feel, and act. Overwhelm, anxiousness, malaise, and unease are a daily experience. And over time, these stress-reactions turn into habits, leaving us stuck in a mental and physical rut. So, how can you soothe stress before it becomes your go-to?
In this practical and accessible guide, you'll find powerful and effective tools for calming stress in both mind and body. Based on the innovative mind-body reset (MBR) program, you'll learn how to stop stress in its tracks with simple somatic exercises. You'll also discover how you can "reset" your nervous system, alleviate stress flare-ups, and boost your overall health and happiness. If you're ready to combat stress, cultivate calm, and live a more vital life, it's time for a reset!

A gentle gift of a book
A gentle gift of a book with lots of simple, useful exercises and great resources via the publisher's website and the included pdf. This book won't cure my complex PTSD and fibromyalgia but I think it can help soothe it on a regular basis.

The only book on somatic practices I recommend
I am a writer and a neurodivergence activist. As part of my activities, I have been looking high and low for a book on somatic practices to recommend to neurodivergent people who are struggling with stress and/or anxiety. I am SO GLAD I found this book, as every other book I've checked out has had flaws so serious that I simply could not recommend it to my target audience. This book is clear, concise, practical, informative, and utterly devoid of triggers that could activate someone's PTSD or cPTSD. The narrator does a cracking job, too.

Brilliantly simple and easy to apply
This book brought all of the complex knowledge and information I've gleaned from various trauma specialists, somatic teachers, podcasts interviews and, YouTube videos, into one, well laid out and to easy to follow, place. For me personally, there was nothing new but never-the-less it brought me far greater clarity in understanding why I am using some of the tools I am using and how to use them more effectively. I highly recommend for anyone suffering with chronic stress and related health conditions.

Vagus nerve is so important
I thought that this book would be a bunch a
of mediations and mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and improve the body functions. I was so wrong.
This book explains in great detail how the vagus nerve is the key to the who body stress dis-ease. The book in each chapter gives you exercises to do which are quick and do work.
The accompaning PDF is a disappointing ment as it just shows a few moves to do. If you have tried yoga you will know them.
They ending chapters 9 and 10 were confusing and sounded as though they repeated each other.

Scenarios
Mostly scenarios rather than real help. Sometimes we don't need to know all the details just a summary of the facts will do
