A nice little story

A tad predictable but very sweet, a pleasant listen for a rainy afternoon or a car ride.

Delightful story but short

Loved the cutesy story, utterly heartwarming but way too short. Would have liked there to have been a little something extra. Feels like a filller book to keep readers happy. Sorry

Disappointing

I really enjoyed “the maid” so expected this to be similar. But characters boring and sicklysweet, and story totally predictable and doll.

Boring and obvious

It was a yawn. So dull and slow and obvious all the way through. I became irritated

I needed a tissue for my issue at the end

Brilliantly written Christmassy story. Typically wonderful Molly and superb characterisation throughout by the amazing Lauren Ambrose. Such a great series, I really can’t wait for further adventures with the love of my life Molly and Juan Manuel her doting partner - or husband!! I so much hope that they have a long and happy life together. Thank you so much to Nita Prose for such a wonderful creation.

Dreadful

Appallingly dreadful writing, story and so boring. Twee. Sugary- sweet nothingness, like having to eat a huge bag of sweets instead of a nourishing, healthy, meal.. A child could have done much better.

This is NOT literature. I'm appalled that the so-called writer of this book could abuse the readers/listeners with hackneyed clichés, cardboard characterisations, a ridiculous parody of a 'love story', and even attempt to use the well known ST Coleridge's quote, "The willing suspension of disbelief' within her 'story'.

This is a travesty of a book, and an abuse of people's intelligence and their love of Christmas and an excellent romance story. It's nothing more than a sham. How could Audible promote this dreadful, badly written, 'book'?

Disappointing.

No mystery. Predictable story from chapter one. No murder. I loved The Maid, was underwhelmed by book 2, but this is very disappointing.

Such a dull story

After listening to The Maid by the same author I was really looking forward to the next saga of Molly the maid. But it was so dull and the only mystery was the relationship between Molly and her boyfriend. I struggled at times to listen until the end but I did. I wish I hadn't wasted my credit on this title.
