Gripping tale!
A very enjoyable listen. Excellent narration.Intriguing storyline. I liked the fact that there was a past and a present.It was a very good plot and I would recommend this audible to fans of Clare Douglas.

Too much neurotic exposition. Narrator tells you what to think. Central character views everything from its impact on her

Nice
Overall, I really enjoyed it. While the story was quite predictable in many parts, it still managed to keep me engaged and curious to see how everything would unfold. It had a nice pace, a few twists that kept things interesting, and just enough suspense to hold my attention. Not a perfect thriller, but definitely an entertaining listen. Three stars from me – light, fun, and easy to get into!

Brilliant!
I love Claire Douglas' books and this one did not disappoint. I was hooked from the beginning of the audio book right through to the end. A story full of twists and turns that kept me guessing and the narration was spot on too. I would highly recommend!

A little disappointed
I have loved all of Claire Douglas' books so far and couldn't wait for this one to come out, but I was a little disappointed and felt not a lot really happened in this book when compared with her others. It was ok but not one of my favourites.
