Delightfully disturbing
Loved this from the start to the end. Disturbing . Brilliantly written. Highly recommended . I listened on audible whilst in the car - driving extra miles to keep listening ! So so good

fantastic from start to finish
this is one of my favourite books i’ve ever listened to, from start to finish, it just kept you on the edge of your seat and when you think the worse , it’s only just began.

Good twist
I loved how it all came together, such a good story and kept me interested throughout! I was so eager to finish it I’m sad I have! Possibly read again!

OTT voices of characters
I gave up about 90mins in as couldn't focus on the story due to the ridulous character voices. I found them very distracting - particularly Fiona, but also other characters that sounded like bad comedic caricatures. I may go back to the book another time and read it, but can't listen to the audio book.

They do say, ‘Revenge is a dish best served cold’!
As Fiona Smith settles into her new home, it doesn't take her long to befriend her next door neighbours. With a fragile marriage, Ethan and Emma appear to be walking around each other on eggshells, leaving a large gap for Fiona to fill. As the reader learns more about Fiona’s past and just how far she will go for revenge, nothing can prepare you for the rollercoaster ride Edwards takes you.
Expect twists and turns galore. It's a little too silly for my liking, but it's an easy read.

Improbable plot
I didn’t enjoy this listen very much. Improbable with some clunky plot shifts. A pretty gruesome ending also. Felt that they took things too far.

Good but not brilliant
I found this a bit mediocre compared to his previous books. It was far less creepy and relied on a dubious and unlikely coincidence.

Loved this book from start to finish!

Listened to the end but …
The most dreadful recording. Had to speed up the female and slow down the male. Made for very annoying listening.
Male narrator was excellent. Female not so good. Sorry limped along with the male side being believable and the female not. Loved the authors other books but not this one. I’m sure it would have been better if the narration wasn’t such a mess. She spoke so slowly it was painful. I could have **lled her myself just so she didn’t speak! Ha ha will definitely buy the authors books again as the others have been so enjoyable. Try it - it might just not be for me.
