This was a thrilling story but suggested that all women are frightened of men and walking alone at night a bit too much for me.

Absolutely gripping story from start to finish. I cried and I gasped and I ranted and raged. Characters I bonded with, characters I hated. Terrifying, thought provoking and deeply disturbing. Brilliant story telling and twists I did not see coming. Loved it.

A brilliant suspense story that had me glued until the very end. I love all Claire Allen books, but this is the best by far!

Brilliantly read and written book. The narration is some of the best I’ve heard and I finished it within 2 days. Captivating and thought provoking. Will definitely be reading some more of this author’s books

Enjoyed this book a lot, it kept me gripped and I really enjoyed the twist. I will say I do think I would have enjoyed reading this more than listening as the mother’s narration did grate on me more often than not. Otherwise it was great and I have been recommending it already

This book is the best I have read/listened to for a very long time. It is compelling story which examines modern day sexual politics. I struggled to ever put it down before it was finished. The quality of writing and character development is faultless and the narration, excellent!
