Summary

Magic can happen when two paths cross by chance. But does love have the power to heal the traumas of the past?

With his troubled past behind him, Pastor Barthelme Munster has been traveling from chapel to chapel in Montana, living by his promise to God. But the pastor aches for something more, and he has his eye on settling in the growing town of Bear Creek, where he can fully give himself to a community that needs him.

Samantha Freda has arrived in Bear Creek and together with her five sisters is trying to put a dark and difficult past behind her. When her boss and mentor, Matilda Rayford, tells her there’s a new pastor in town, Samantha agrees to attend Sunday Service to welcome him.

What neither Samantha nor Pastor Munster were expecting, however, was to find in each other a mirror: someone who recognizes pain; a kindred spirit with whom they can share their dark pasts and talk through the things life normally forces them to bury.

Suddenly, these two lost souls are not alone...but can they accept their worth in time to give their blossoming love a chance?

Samantha has never dated before, and with concern for her sisters at the forefront of her mind, marriage is the last thing she’s considering. But in the presence of Pastor Munster, she sees a future for herself that she’s never believed she deserves.

Does Samantha have the courage to prioritize her own happiness and open herself up to the man who could heal her? And can the pastor help her to see her worth and recognize that he too deserves more than a life solely devoted to helping others?

The Pastor’s Doubtful Bride is the seventh book in the Bear Creek Brides historical Western romance series. Lose yourself in a richly woven story as the dark pasts of Samantha and the kind pastor unfurl. Can love really heal all?

Sweet Historical Romance

There was a lot I loved about this story, but again we had a spirit journey with the Native Indian tribe and the false theology at the funeral that bother me.
The narration was very good.
