I enjoyed the story, it was cute, short and sweet. However, having both voices done by a female detracted a bit from the story for me.

Both Simone and James have been enamoured with one another in silence, but a chance encounter changes things. Does it mean that they'll finally get together or will insecurities stand in their way?...

Let me say...I started laughing from the beginning, which is rare. Liked this as hit the ground runnibg... by not taking 4 chapters to establish characters. If looking for typical romcom...move on. It is a romcom in reverse which is/was so refreshing...when the book ends... my smile and natural high has not. Definetly on my feel-good favourite re-read list.

Mildly funny,moderately clean but the ending/characters changing was too rushed & sudden at the end,wouldn't listen a 2nd time but was enjoyable for the most part.

A great short story with complex characters that touches on struggles that many of us have or will face at some point in our lives. Sports themed romance isn't usually my cup of tea but the balance in this one was well executed and I didn't feel like I was drowning under a mountain of it. I'm not a fan of two different points of view and alternating chapters which was the only negative for me, but that is just a personal preference and not a criticism of the book overall. A good solid read. .
