About this listen

Ruin befalls any who speak the tale of The Seven.

They said The Seven were the greatest mercenary outfit in all of Dellerin. Respected, loved, and feared. Only they could accomplish the impossible; the gods themselves blessed them.

But when they disappeared, no warriors could halt The Dark One's emergence and his ruination of the world. And the Seven's tale was soon lost in the darkness.

Until now.

In the war-ravaged city of Dellerin, a strange book has survived The Dark One's gaze. Veiled, warded, and awaiting a warrior worthy enough to discover its mysteries, the pages of "The Seven" are about to open.

Can one book hold more power than ever imagined?

From best-selling author Robert J Power comes the first book in a new blockbuster dark fantasy world where evil reigns, demons roam, and enchantments cost your very soul. If you love grimdark fantasy filled with antiheroes, unpredictable action, and raw emotion, then The Seven will keep you listening into the night.

Surprisingly good

What starts of as your standard group of adventurers going after evil wizard kinda thing, quickly becomes something else entirely. Was intrigued by the plot. Will definitely be looking up other titles by this author.

NOT SPARK CITY, a bit blah. never finished it.

I love the Spark City books so much I recommended them which is unlike me.
So I was excited for this book but I found it unengaging. I didn't bond with the characters at all, halfway a few hours in and I was still trying to remember who was who. They were very flat and had no real back story to bring them to life or just didn't make sense
The story so far is VERY flat and one dimensional.
I don't think I have ever given up on a book in this genre before.

I am very sad as I bought this and the first Spark City book was free! I will say the first spark city is slow to get into action but it is introducing you to a lot of the important characters and it develops them brilliantly.
