About this listen
Part coming-of-age and part second chance romance - THE SUMMER WE FELL is an emotional rollercoaster full of sacrifice, love and heartbreak. Perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Mia Sheridan.
He was my boyfriend's best friend-and the bane of my existence. I wanted to hate Luke Taylor. I did hate him. I just never hated him enough.
Now, a decade later, tragedy has brought us back to the place where it all happened-my best times, and my worst.
Our lives have changed, but that pull between us is just as strong as ever.
Only this time, it's more dangerous too.

What saved this audiobook was the dual narration. It's almost become a must for me at this point! Unusually, the male narrator didn't change his voice for the male characters. The female narrator had an odd way of raising her voice in words to make them seem like queries or questions.😕 Overall, it was only ok.
The story was very enjoyable. It was frustrating and sad for the mfc. She was trapped with selfish kindness by the mum, naive and self-centred love by her boyfriend, and judgemental self-sacrifice by the father!🥺
Circumstances and trying to do the right thing hemmed her in. Her only solace was Luke, who she could never have!💔
This does eventually have a hea, thankfully! I loved Donna and Libby's honesty near the end.🙏🏼
