Don't keep the adventure a secret

I love Matthew Reilly 's books (even if he does have a habit of killing off my favourite characters) and I enjoyed this book as it is well researched (I love the way he uses modern day to explain ancient histories myths and legends) but I read his books for the action and adventure, the unbelievable escapes and never ending bullets but found the fight sciences a bit few and far between in this book. I was wondering at one point if there was going to be any heros left for the next book. This is book five in this series and I would recommend that you sit back and enjoy the whole series, especially as each book continues on from the last and quite often ends on a cliff hanger. A great action adventure stepped in history.
Jack won the Great Games but when everything went wrong and the king didn't receive his reward, knowledge about the three ancient city's and the next challenge to save the world, he and the rest of his damaged team are striaght back into the game, hitting the books and puzzling out the clues. They will face new challenges, bigger and deadly foes and not everybody will make it but can the world survive if they fail.
I liked the narrator. I am glad he is the authors narrator of choice because he does a good job.

Rip-roaring emotional roller coaster ride!!

Wow!! What a story!!! Absolutely amazing from start to finish!! As usual, Reilly launches you back in to Jack West Jr's world and this book will not disappoint. Faster pace than previous Jack West books (apart from 4LK) and does not lack in shocks and surprises.

Matthew Reilly is an incredible storyteller!! The Jack West Jr series is a must read because once you start reading, it is impossible to stop. I've followed Jack West since his first adventure in Seven Ancient Wonders and I can not wait for the next one!!

Also, I hope Hollywood picks up these books and makes them in to movies or a TV show. This would be the biggest series since the avengers or twilight to hit our screens.

Matthew Reilly = Legend!!
