I love cranbridge its a lovely little village with a fabulous community. I read/listened to the other books in the series before this one and although I knew the outcome of this it didn't effect how much I enjoyed it. it really was great, just wish it didn't have to end.
The narrator also helped with bringing everything to life and giving it a realistic feel to cranbridge and the characters.

Really lovely to listen to this book, another good one for the series. I do look forward to the next one. nice to hear about the character from the other books, but good that the story does have a different main person to keep it interesting.

I found this book very gloomy and depressing it went on for most of the book about Belles sad life , which she couldn’t get over and every one else was affected by her bad mood in one way or another until the last few short chapters where she realised Pete was and had always been her everything. This certainly was not a quick pick you up read.
