The partnership between Heather Tammy-Jo and Ace is fantastic. Your ability to make the characters come alive and for us listeners to love them is unsurpassed
Also I never guessed who dunnit either
And the humour throughout with the names and the conversations make the story all the more enjoyable

Dreadful narration which spoilt the book. There are far too long gaps throughout and dreary voice. A great shame as JD Kirk is one of my favourite authors. I hope someone else narrates future books in this seers. If not, I won't be buying future ones!

Good story though a bit gory at times. Good characterisation.

unfortunately, I kept my earpiece in all day and now I have to await the next novel!

As with the other books by J. D. Kirk this book has been fun, colourful, senesitive and interesting. This series will become a favourite alongside Logan and Hoon. I look forward to the next one.

Another great book, didn’t want it to end. I love the 3 strong all girls team, made me laugh out loud and even tear up a number of times. The narration was the best too (sorry Angus), I think I need a Hoon book now plse to slap the sentimental feeling out of me!!

This is an excellent second book in what will undoubtedly become a gripping series. Move over a wee bit DCI Logan there has to be room on that pedestal for two.

The bringing together of Heather and Tammy Jo, while unlikely on the surface, is a triumph. Brilliant tale, amazing character development, and excellent narration. Female leads both strong positive characters and extremely well written in my view.

Great book, I always initially struggle with this narrator but by chapter 2 I was involved in the story line and fully enjoyed

I’d love if Angus king could do the voice of the Logan characters when they make an appearance!
