About this listen
A woman on board is bad luck...unless she is the key to finding a lost treasure.
Tristan Fisher and his brothers leave their father's fishing boat and return to a life of piracy, longing for the adventure and riches they once knew. With dwindling supplies and a restless crew, fate finally smiles on them when a storm at sea leaves behind flotsam. However, it is more than just boxes and barrels of supplies they find. Tristan and his brothers fish an old woman out of the water who claims to not only know the whereabouts of a treasure map, but who also says she is their long lost grandmother!
Scottish lass, Gavina Drummond's life is turned upside down with one tragedy after another. Now, disguised as a boy and with a treasure map secretly and unwillingly inked on to her back, she finds herself as cabin boy and musician to a dark and dangerous pirate named Tristan. He's not really what she expects and is surprised when he protects her from his cutthroat crew. The handsome man wins her trust and gains her interest.
Gavina needs nothing short of a king's treasure to pay back her father's steep gambling debts and to buy back her brother's freedom. Desperate to find the English king's stolen treasure, her only problem is that she can't see the map to read it. With time running out, it is crucial she finds someone to help her soon.
Tristan seems the likely choice, since searching for treasure is a trait of his kind. But if Gavina confides in him, she'll have to show him the map. And in order to do that, she'll have to disrobe.
Will a dark-hearted pirate discover he's unknowingly brought a woman on board who is also the key to finding his coveted treasure? Or is it not a treasure of silver and gold that he truly desires the most after all?

Tristan
His book is wonderful. It tells of Tristan and his brothers who are pirates. On the ship are the crew and Nairnie who they noticed in the sea and they rescued only to be shocked to find that Nairnie is their grandmother. They had pulled into shore and the plan was for the crew to find a wench for the night as a treat. But things didn’t turn out this way. There was a big fight which the pirates got involved with and Tristan ended up taking a young woman on his ship when he left. It was a fantastic story with fighting , greed, loving, death and all sorts of adventures looking for treasure. The narration was excellent, the narrator told the story as if it is real. I enjoyed every word of it. It is wonderful to be able to listen to a book and to be able to carry on with other essential jobs. I am looking forward listening to Mardon. I love these books.

great, quick, action-packed book
The narrator was good.
I loved the story! It’s fast paced, full of action and lots of twists and turns in this fantastic plot. The characters are oh so delightful, from the sexy, swashbuckling pirate Tristan ( sigh ), the delightfully amusing grandmother, Narnie, to the beautiful Gavina posing as a lad.
The pirates are three brothers, Tristan, Mardon and Aaron.
They are planning on finding the King’s lost treasure by following a map. Tristan is the captain and can be ruthless, although, he does have a different side to his character. The person who brings this side of him out is Gavina. Gavina is determined to rescue her younger brother from a noble, as he was taken in a raid. Their grandmother, Nairnie, was a fearless woman and certainly one of a kind. Although, Tristan and Gavina have an attraction, Gavina doesn’t want to live her life on a ship but could Tristan change his ways. There is plenty of action in this entertaining story, on land and on sea. Now for the story of the next brother, Mardon!

another brilliant story
Loved every minute of it. This is the first book of this series. I just couldn't stop listening. I loved all the Pirate brothers, but I think Tristan is my favourite. I love Nairnie, their grandmother, she's so hilarious. The narrator was very good. It's definitely worth a credit. Looking forward to Mardens story next. Can't wait.
