About this listen
It is a dark and misty night, and bachelors Nicholas and Ian are driving to the ball at Fordings, a beautiful concert hall in the countryside. There waits the charming Dilys Maine, and a party buzzing with rumours of one Rosemary Reeve who disappeared on the eve of this event the previous year.
With thoughts of this mysterious case ringing in their ears, Dilys and Nicholas strike a stranger on the drive back home, launching a new investigation and unwittingly reviving the search for what really became of Rosemary Reeve. All the hallmarks of the Golden Age mystery are here in this previously unpublished novel by E.C.R. Lorac, boasting the author's characteristically detailed sense of setting and gripping police work.

Interesting twists and turns and backtracks
I think when you listen to this story at some point you will guess who done it but not definitely why. It’s a good story line for its time and a very enjoyable listen.

Great story
This story is definitely a masterpiece. So glad it was discovered and finally put into print and audio.
As for the reading, Kris has a very good tempo that makes it easy to follow the story. He doesn’t vary so much his voice for the different characters, but they are distinct due to his adequate pausing.
Really great.

Brilliant story
I absolutely loved listening to Two-Way Murder. A gripping story & Kris Dyer was brilliant at reading it. He was excellent at giving each character their own individual voice. I would highly recommend listening to a Two-Way Murder.I will definitely be listening to more ECRLorac books.

Brilliant story and performance!
Having previously listened to and loved E. C. R. Lorac’s Murder By Matchlight, I wanted to listen to more of her books. This one is absolutely fantastic as well! The story is full of twists and turns but is easy to keep up with. The narrator is also excellent and it’s easy to follow which character is which.

Good
Another good golden age classic from the British Library . Narrator is pretty good and the story though not one of Loracs best is still worth listening to.

A strong sense of place and clever plot
As with her other novels, Lorac creates vivid scenery and individuals - a convincing community with all its secrets and interrelationships. The plot is cunning and I enjoyed hearing the guesswork of multiple characters, some of whom are nearly as clever as her detective - a more democratic approach than earlier novels. Kris Dyer’s narration has grown on me - it’s unpretentious and crisp, with enough pauses to allow me to take in detail.

A good old-fashioned yarn
The story was good - plenty of period detail and country character but rather spoilt by the narrator who I found monotonous and unconvincing.
