About this listen

Maulkin and his Eternal allies may have just caused the apocalypse, but at least they’re doing it with style.

The Voidgod is back and the Alvaren Queen is now convinced that Maulkin is the second coming of the Voidgod himself, but at least they have the totally awesome magic sword made out of the weapon that put the big bad down for a long nap last time!

No wait, they don’t. The first thing Araphel did after stretching and yawning was to turn it to dust.

But it is all going to work out fine if Maulkin, the dumbest man in the known universe, can work out how to do what the gods themselves haven’t been able to since the dawn of time, and put Araphel down.

What could possibly go wrong?

I really do enjoy the performance and professionalism of the narrator. Great LitRPG adventure with amazing and lifelike characters.

favourite storyline

This is by far one of my favourite storylines going, not alone did it also gave me such a fun read with laughs, tears and anger throughout reading this series but it also gave me some of the best motavation and influence to make my DND world that I have been running for years now since before the books but it as been the biggest influence on my world. And as a dungeon master of 10+ years and known to read alot of fantasy books this is possible one the best reads I have ever had the pleasure to read.

Realy enjoyed it!

I just finished the series. I liked the story, whitch is full of brutality and childish humour at the same time. The story is very good with a ton of action in a well structured world. Loved the surprises and twists.

A mess of bad writing.

The authors seem to have lost what made the first book special. They seem to like to focus on the battles, with the character constantly going from one battle to the next and storytelling has sort of taken a back seat as a result. This isn't really terrible in and of itself. The problem comes with drawing out each and every scene as much as possible, seemingly without ever getting to the point. It's tiring to listen to. Plain and simple. This in turn has made me lose interest in the humour. Something that was a key draw for me into this series.

I don't know what feedback they took from book two, but it's clearly the wrong kind.
