About this listen
The gods play havoc with our souls.
Callie:
I’m torn in two. The mark of the gods has bound me to my mortal enemy, and not even the most desperate yearnings of my heart can break this tie. Between the slayer’s vow and the cruel tricks of Idun, my free will has been stolen from me. All I can hope for now, is that my sister and I can find a path to salvation, but it feels as though we’re walking a path to our ruin instead.
Montana: I made my choice, and there’s no turning back. The world has finally offered me the liberty I craved, so why does my heart keep begging me to return to the monster I left behind? I sense a danger brewing on the horizon, something coming this way that we can’t escape. And even as my thoughts settle on a faraway land where we can leave our hellish past behind for good, I fear it won’t be that easy. The games of the gods have only just begun.
***This is a dark, fantasy romance series by the authors of Zodiac Academy with all the enemies to lovers vibes–don’t go expecting a sweet vampire with sparkling skin and a tendency to watch you sleeping. These vampires are savage and bloodthirsty, and the slayer who hunts them will stab first and ask questions later.
This war-torn fantasy world is a brutal bi*ch and only those 18+ have a chance at surviving the darkness lurking in the audio. There’s no well-meaning vampires snacking on Bambies instead of babies, and if they get their teeth into you, you’ll be damn lucky to escape with your life and panties intact. So grab hold of your slayer blade (wooden stakes have too many splinters) and get ready to defy the gods, because this is going to be one helluva ride***

The suspense!!
This book was brilliant I felt like it had me on the edge of my seat and so excited to get into book 5. So much happens with the twins the emotions, the drama, the action and spice it has it all... The narration is fantastic, really loving this series.

Amazing!
Eternal Reign continues to deliver the intense blend of dark romance, gripping action, and intricate mythology that fans of the series have come to expect. The audiobook's narration is nothing short of captivating. The voice actors perfectly capture the complexity of each character, from the conflicted emotions of Callie and Montana to the dark, brooding nature of Erik and Fabian. The tension is palpable, drawing listeners deeper into the story.
The book dives even deeper into the twisted games of the gods, Idun and Andvari, who continue to manipulate the lives of our main characters, pushing them to the brink. The forced marriages, the false connections, and the deep-seated hatred among the group are explored in agonizing detail. Montana’s unyielding love for Erik and Callie’s haunting visions add layers of depth to their struggles, making their journey both heart-wrenching and compelling.
The prophecy that has loomed over them begins to unravel as Montana and Callie work together to decipher its meaning, line by line. The stakes are higher than ever, with the fate of their world hanging in the balance. If you're a fan of dark fantasy, intricate plots, and characters who stay with you long after the book is over, Eternal Reign will not disappoint. The audiobook enhances this already gripping story, making it a must-listen for fans of the series.

what an ending!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
Spice: 🌶🌶.5
This was the weakest book so far in the series IMO. There are a lot of blasts from the past in this book, giving us more insight into the revenants history and the slayers. It felt like nothing happened in the first half of the book, but the last 25% were really good! I love the events that unfold in the end and where the different characters are heading. I'm not the biggest fan of our male slayers in this one. But I'd marry Eric any day!
I'm excited to see where this is going.
Audio: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So far in the series, the same narrators have been used in all the books, which I appreciate. Troy Duran can read anything, and I'll love it. His voice is so decadent and fits perfectly to our ancient males.
Michelle Sparks does a good job, but I'm not a fan of her reading style.

Slow to get started but a great ending
I found this book a bit slow to get started compared to the earlier books on the series. All of the information that we were getting is probably needed to complete the story but I did find it didn't pick up till the last 3rd of the book. Luckily the last 3rd was excellent and I now am desperate to start book 5.
Having read other books by the authors I know that no character is safe from death and they aren't afraid of going in a direction the readers are hoping against if it makes the story better. The last part of this book made me scared for all the main characters and surprised me with the ending.
Never thought I'd be rooting for the slayers and Vampires to just make up and be friends but that's where this book has taken me!
The performance as always was excellent.

Loving this series
With the previous instalment ending in such dramatic fashion, I found the beginning of this book slower than I expected. There are a fair few flashbacks, to give us more of the background of our main male hotties, and it takes the pace out of the story a little. However it soon ramps up again and the last third is fantastic and packed with excitement.
Awesome narration once again, really enjoyed the delivery.
Can't wait to dive into the next book!

Omg action packed
Omg what can I say, there was fighting, drama, Romance.
I was on the edge of my seat and I’ve already read this story. It was soo good, better in in this version I think. The narrator’s are brilliant and I could listen to Troy all day any day.
Oh and what a cliff hanger… thank god (or not) that I have already got the next book lined up 😍
Enjoy this wild ride and for once on spoilers in my reviews

I love this narrative duo for the characters in this series and book four continues to keep me invested with the re-release. Highly recommend that if you haven't already, go to book one and dive in - it's so worth it!
