Oh my what a load of rubbish. Extremely boring and a weird attempt at recreating 50 shades. Silly story line and an awful ending.

This is a good story, has some heat, great narrators and Easy to get into. My only critique is, it all goes a bit soft and sometimes you just want the Alpha to remain Alpha

The only bug bear I have for this is when she goes back to King at the club. I found his treatment of her a little digrading which made me feel a little uncomfortable but other than that its a brilliant story and has a lovely happy ending.

I really enjoyed this story. Once it gets going in chapter 3 (I think) it was a rollercoaster of spice and drama and a fight for love. Great narration.

So this book was a real pleasant surprise. The blurb didn’t say that much but it turned out to be one of the great one. So yeah, it’s really dark and incredibly hot but at the same time this is probably one of the sweetest books I’ve “read”. A lot of the dialogue made me smile bid due to how sweet they were to each other. The MMC is both one of the most ruthless and one of the most loving characters I’ve encountered and the MFC has a character development, or maybe one should call it a rediscovery, that is so great. The plot is surprising and exciting and I’m so gonna get me the next book too right now. Have high hopes for Gretchen and Luca, 🤩 fingers crossed…

Narrationwise it was absolutely spot on. Kelsey Navarro is great and her interpretation of the MMC was so awesome. Troy Duran, having one of the deepest, rumbliest most delicious bass voices out there and being really hard to simulate, she still managed to get a cross the feeling of his character without making it feel or sound awkward, which is a feat all on its own. And Troy? What can I say, pure eargasm as always. Together they bring all the characters and the plot alive so well it’s pure joy listening to it.

Started amazing really amazing!
Almost the first half was perfect and fun and then the rest was just 𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖆-𝖑𝖔𝖛𝖊/𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖆-𝖑𝖆𝖘𝖙 and I'm not 𝖈𝖗𝖆𝖟𝖞 about it to be honest.
There were things that 𝖇𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖉 me a lot because I felt an 𝖎𝖒𝖇𝖆𝖑𝖆𝖓𝖈𝖊 between seriousness and lightness, all in all not 𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖗𝖎𝖇𝖑𝖊 but not "wow it's a must read book" either.
I give it 3-3.5🌟

This is my second time listening and I was not disappointed.

Great narrator’s and the story flowed perfectly it did not drag like some others I have listened too.

Would 100% recommend this series to anyone can’t wait to listen to more from this author.

I have been hooked to this unexpected story. I loved that the woman is successful and accomplished and that her and guy are peers in power. the sex scenes top, the romance too.
