About this listen
*A standalone novel set in the world of St. Mary's
**INCLUDES the prequel, The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy
Two years ago, Reed Jackson betrayed Calliope Thorne and broke her heart. So she stole his most prized possession—a white mustang—and drove it into the lake for revenge.
Now, Callie is stuck at a reform school while Reed is off at college, living his life without repercussions.
Until he comes back.
With him comes back all the feelings that Callie has been trying to bury: anger and heartbreak.
But most of all, desire.
At the sight of his beautiful but lying lips and his gunmetal gray eyes that still taunt and smolder when he looks at her.
Whatever though. It’s not as if Callie is ever going to fall for her ex-boyfriend again. Or let him corner her in a bar one night and touch her, kiss her…
Neither is she going to kiss him back. Or worse, sleep with him.
Because that would make her naïve and foolish.
Oh, and also pregnant.
And there’s no way Callie is ever going to get pregnant at eighteen and with Reed’s baby, no less. The guy she hates. The guy who taught her all about heartbreak.
Who might look like a gorgeous hero but really is the villain of her story.

Angsty New Adult Romance
A Gorgeous Villian, St Mary's Rebels Book 2 by Saffron Kent is an angsty NA romance with fantastic characters and lots of heartache.
I loved Callie & Reed's second chance romance, these characters captured my heart, I was hooked in by their story of hard-earned love, forgiveness and redemption.
I felt so bad for Reed throughout this story, he struggled so much with feeling like he didn't deserve love and good things in his life, I was rooting for him to get his HEA.
The audiobook for A Gorgeous Villian is absolutely fantastic, I adored Stefanie Kay's narration. Stefanie Kay predominately narrated this book but there were occasional chapters in Reed's POV narrated by Gideon Frost.
This audiobook also included the prequel novella The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy.

My first audiobook!
This is the first audiobook I've listened to for years... Since audiobooks used to come on tapes! Lol
I actually read the prequel section of this, but decided to listen to AGV as an audio because it's a long book and I wanted to be able to get some other tasks done. Whilst this did actually take longer to listen to overall, i found it easy to become engaged, which i was a bit wary about initially.
The story itself is one I've read before, and it wasn't my favourite of the series overall, so again, I'm glad I'm glad I picked the audio because I found that I still continued to pay attention. Whereas if I had been reading it, I probably would've kept picking the book up and putting it down again, struggling to get through.
Overall, an enjoyable dip back into the audio world which has led to me listening to more of my books as audio versions recently.

Wonderful Coming of age book
A Gorgeous Villain by SaffronA. Kent
Narration by Stephanie Kay and Gideon Frost
Having a follow up with Callie and Reed was exactly what I was wanting after that ending in The Wild Mustang and The Dancing Fiery. I thought wow it’s going to be great to hear what is happening wit happening with everyone now and I was anxious to see where Saffron would lead us. It’s two years later in this book. Wow so much happened but we’re brought up to speed.
Callie is living in a reform school due to her actions and she sneaks out regularly to maintain her dancing dreams. But who does she run into while she sneaking out but the one person who landed her in her current situation.
This was an emotional book but oh so worth the HEA. I honestly didn’t know how Saffron was going to tell this story when I started this second book.
Reed is there watching over Callie and seemingly cares what she is going through. Callie thank her sweet sole still dreams and practices her ballet. Boy there is so many emotions in this story. Saffron does an amazing job of pulling us into the story and we get to see why Reed is the way he is. Callie sees he is trying and she still has feelings for him even after everything that has happened.
I loved this coming of age story and how much detail was given to building the story. The prequel is included here but I had heard it before so anyone who hasn’t is in luck because it’s included.
Stephanie Kay did all of the characters in the prequel here in Gorgeous Villain. Here in this audiobook she is Callie the young women who rightfully goes through a gamut of emotions and Stephanie does an awesome job with her. Gideon Frost was amazing, he shows us all of the emotions Reed carried throughout his life and shows us he has a caring side as well. You will love this new adult romance that is beautifully written to be realistic.

Enemies To Lovers Second Chance Romance
A Gorgeous Villain is an enemies to lovers second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stefanie Kay and Gideon Frost. This is the second book in the St. Mary's Rebels series and can be read as a standalone.
This is the second book of Saffron's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Calliope and Reed. It was extremely messy, but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series These Thorn Kisses to be released on audio so I can get Bronwyn's story.
Stefanie and Gideon did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for an enemies to lovers romance, second chance romance, accidental pregnancy romance, or contemporary romance.

So good
I’m not an emotional person and I don’t really cry at books but omg this nearly made me cry. I had a lump in my throat at the end of chapter 27 and it’s stayed there until almost the end when Roman has the talk with Callie ❤️

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!
Callie and Reed’s story continues in the amazing sequel to “The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy”, Callie and Reed’s story continues in the amazing sequel to “The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy”, Reed’s behavior and what he did at the end of that book did not please me at all but Callie’s actions and the way she expressed her hurt and anger did, it was an impressive stunt and retaliation. This book picks up two years after that event and we learn what her retaliation cost her and that she was not the only one who paid a price. After they charged Callie with a crime, she was forced out of her school and her beloved ballet program, despite the reduced charges, they sentenced her to live at St. Mary’s, a Reform School. She punished herself by giving up some things she loved, but the one thing she stuck with was her dancing and her dreams of attending Juilliard sneaking out at night to practice in the studio of her former school. One night, she sensed that someone was watching her and her mind played tricks on her because she thought it was him. It turns out it was, and he shows up while she was out with her friends from school. She was still angry with him for what he did and tried to push him away, but he was not going anywhere while she continued to put herself in danger and come up with a solution to help her reach her goals. This is a fantastic new adult romance, the story is cleverly plotted and the dialogue between he characters is absolutely brilliant. This book tugs at your heartstrings, my heart went out to Callie at first, but it quickly started going out to Reed too, his backstory is heartbreaking and explains why he is the way he is. I loved how everything played out in this book, there is plenty of drama, angst, twist and turns, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn romance. Saffron A. Kent, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Saffron A Kent cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Stefanie Kay did an exceptional job performing the roles for all the characters in the prequel, doing an excellent job covering both the male and female roles, giving each their own distinct voice. Her Callie was spot on, capturing her youthfulness and naivety and her strength and determination. Gideon Frost joins her in this sequel as the hero and played Reed’s role perfectly. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Villain or Hero?
This was such a sweet and beautiful story, I adore Callie and how sweet she is, she is such a pure soul. She’s been through heartbreak and isn’t bitter, she’s sad and trying to remember, but not bitter. Reid is the villain of her story, but he might also just be her hero too. The chemistry between these two is perfect. I loved the progression of their story and the pace. It was sweet and spicy.

enemies to lovers
This book gives you all the feels. There were definitely parts where I was banging my head against a wall saying what are you doing? but overall it was great. I loved Callie and how much she evolved throughout the book and Reed the wannabe villain who was anything but. There were plenty of twists and turns and while it did drag in a few places the narration was wonderful and it was an overall great listen.

Gorgeous indeed
All the angst and steam one comes to expect in a SAK novel is in this book. Young woman done wrong by her ex but she still can't stop pining for him. When she gives in to his villainous sexy ways all the sexiness ensues. But this time the consequences of even more dire than a wild mustang sinking in a lake. Reed and Callie were like a wild fire that should have been extinguished but tore a path of destruction through her heart. But you watch it all consumed by their flames and wanting to burn along with them.
The narration was really good and it helped you immerse yourself in their story.
If you love second chance romance and antiheroes that have to earn their redemption you will enjoy this book.

Intense listen
This story needed two very good narrators to do it justice and Stephanie Rose and Gideon Frost did just that!
A star crossed lovers romance. Reed and Callie are so young when they meet, so it's easy to put her attraction to him down to a young woman's crush. However, Callie knows that Reed, with his beautiful eyes and aloof manner, is hers. Reed is complex and convinced he is incapable of loving anyone, so much so that his world is a dark place! Poor Callie! Her incarceration is an awful thing, but her wonderful friends at St Mary's are probably going to be friends for life!
I really loved seeing the blooming of Reed. The connection between him and Callie is so strong, yet there is so much destruction, misunderstanding and the impact of other people. Callie's brothers are great. Fierce, protective and, although their emotional background is very different, have many traits in common with Reed.
There is so much emotion in this book and just you wait until that epilogue! It's gorgeous. But I did want to see to see Reed's dad destroyed 😇💖💖💖💖💖
