Un-put-down-able
Another absolute hit from JD Kirk’s incredible DCI Logan series. The previous book ended on a tantalising cliffhanger so I couldn’t wait to find out what it meant and what would happen. The main characters were as amazing as usual, with more insights into their relationships throughout the book which I loved. The twists and turns and surprises in the story had me on the edge of my seat - literally gasping out loud, staring open-mouthed and, at one point, crying! I found every opportunity to listen to it as I was desperate to find out what happened next…and I demolished the book in 2.5 days! Absolutely fantastic.

Utterly Excellent
Having just finished listening my first reaction is OMFG and can I slap JD Kirk for the rollercoaster of emotions and tension I felt whilst listening to this excellent book!
Of course other books in this series have caused angst when things happen to our beloved characters, but this one was a demon and I have nearly ground my teeth down!
It is another excellent book by JD Kirk and I cannot wait to see what happens next to DCI Logan and the Team.
Narration is by the mega talented Angus King whom once again brings the whole book to life; their voices, their characteristics and the way he always remembers exactly how each person sounds giving us continuity.

Another excellent listen
J D Kirk is my favourite author, what I love most are the characters and how he can make me burst out laughing then have me so anxious for them I cannot put the book down. Keep writing these fantastic books

Best One Yet!
Angus King is a genius. He brought this book to life in such a way that I sometimes felt I needed to listen to him from behind a cushion!
Rather uselessly I couldn't second guess the outcome until the last 7 minutes. I predicted one rather major issue but had no idea how that would unfold. There were times when I found myself completely dry-mouthed, everything about this story was woven together well and delivered with the scariest of overtones by King.
I sincerely hope whatever happy writing space JD Kirk was in for this book, he makes it his permanent home - I'd give it more stars if allowed.

Just the best !!!
The only thing I hated was when it ended !! But please can we have more Hoon !!
Story has everything you could want and more
Wonderful narration as usual nothing else I listen to sounds anywhere near as good so I’m resigned to just waiting for the next book !

Another belter
Brilliant, as always. Laugh out loud, heartfelt moments, twists and turns, great characters and an interesting storyline all wrapped up in a very satisfying way.
This next instalment of the Logan series is a winner in my book.

Another brilliant book in the series fabulously narrated by Angus King. The highs lows twists and turns along with humor and pathos keep you truly engaged and not wanting it to end.
